He was being a total dick and spewing out utter nonsense about how I followed a kos on the player "The Gibbinator" from TimmonZ. Before I could even ID the body or say anything \the player "Zalomaster" just kills me. Then I told ThatBox about it and said I could be killed EVEN FOR FOLLOWING A KOS. It's like claiming the mail man who delivered the anthrax without knowing it and not blaming the guy who sent it. ALL other mods/admins have said that you kill the person who said the kos not the person who followed it. I am in no way blaming TimmonZ but I am saying that ThatBox was being a total prick. What kind of mod doesn't know the rules?

You can be killed for killing someone who had a kos, the moment you fire your gun you can be killed.

I am an Admin, and im telling you that if you shoot someone you can be shot. From that persons perspective you could be shooting an innocent so he can shoot you.

 

@AFlyingMexican(CBass) I know you think highly of me, so I'm just going to give you my opinion on this case. When you told me about it, it sounded like you were SLAIN for shooting someone who I had called out. However, that is not the case - you were just killed by someone who saw you shooting Gibbinator. In the !motd it states that "Shooting another player is a traitorous act", therefore you could be killed for doing such a thing. It's why I hardly ever kill a KOS'd player in a highly populated area; it causes me to die 90% of the time. Also, I know you disagree with the case, but please don't harass the mods for abstaining to the exact rules, it's not their fault.

 

I told you exactly what Carned has said.

You were for killing somebody. The KOS does not matter because the player may have not followed/not cared. You still commited a traitorous act and that's why the reported player was not slain. Your constant insults and harassment towards me in-game did not help ease the situation when I was trying to explain it to you either.

I'll admit i poorly worded my first statement, but if you shoot your gun in the general direction of a player you can be killed.

Your postman statement is completely invalid, because you were killed for killing someone.

Report is INVALID as the player had killed an innocent seconds prior to being killed.

 

I don't even need to read everything in this report, I'm going to tell you right now that you are wrong. If you follow a KOS, kill a person and happen to be killed before you can ID their body, you are open to being killed; simple as that.

Look at it this way. If you walk into a gunfight and witness me literally just kill a player, what are you going to do? Wait for me to look at you and tell you that I'm friendly, like any other traitor would do, or would you just shoot me for your own safety? You would shoot me. Your analogies won't help you in this situation. Doesn't matter what you say about a "mailman" or "logic". Logic will lead to any player killing you if you have just killed someone and have not ID'd the body yet.

I'm writing my verdict on this report because it's submitted against my mod. So as Carned did, I'm marking this invalid, and locking it.

 

Any time you fire a weapon, you run the risk of being shot, period.
