To my fellow Americans.

What are your plans for the fourth? Gonna barbecue? Fireworks? Guns? Excuse me while I search up more stereotypes... Ok I'm back.

My plans:
I go to this place called the lake of the ozarks. It's about 2 hours away from my house so wish me luck on the ride. When we get there we go tubing, ride jet skis, boating, fishing, cook, shoot fireworks, and have a great time as a family. Lastly, we have huge bonfire and have a blast.

Now tell me, what are you doing?

 

I plan to relax and enjoy a 3 day weekend (even though I'm not getting paid for the day off). I don't care for the 4th. We don't have freedom anymore.

 

Sitting at home and playing Garry's Mod.

 

woah that sounds fun, can I come? is this what americans really do on that day?

 

It's sort of a tradition but if you're like Zike... I'm not sure... Lol.

I'm not american so i don't celebrate the 4th of July but i'm going to do nothing and play games Lol.

I'm gonna go and wait for some dumbass to blow off a limb, that laugh my ass off right next to the border. (I'm Canadian, and CANADA DAY was FUCKING AMAZING) Its our version of the 4th of July and we had a massive party with like 50 people. (In regard to the firework joke CDriscoll, you KNOW that it's gonna happen)

Dinner at Hyde Park with some friends, and then a huge party my cousin throws every year, in his HUGE house. Probably a bunch of swimming, alcohol, haziness, and some potential streaking opportunities. Oh, and I'm in charge of fireworks EVERY YEAR, and last year I let my little cousin light one off, and it went under a neighbor's car, so yeah...

 

I am on call for 24 hours, which means I could be activated at any moment. Then, I work a 24 hour shift on the fifth. So, I'm busy, but I'm free, that's for sure.

 

Not american, but if I'm to celebrate my country national day, I would just sit back and relax at home, unless they finally give me a ticket to the parade..

 

Going down to Mexico to pick the fun fireworks up. ; )
...Or go visit my kid sister, stock up on Black Cats and enjoy ourselves on the lake while throwing in tea.
