Accidental RDM is (in my mind) classified as "killing someone without the actual INTENTION of killing them" if you accidentaly RDM you will still be slain, im sure many people have heard someone say "accidental RDM is still RDM"

Crossfire is considered "Shooting at one player with another player in the middle and accidentialy shooting the person in the middle" you will not be slain for killing someone in crossfire

This does not make sense to me. How is crossfire not sonsidered accidental RDM, I get the whole "he was trying to shoot a T" aspect of it but it my mind "accidental RDM is still RDM".

I would like some other aspects on this situation and I would like to get this theory out into the public :)

Lemme explain this. If you are throwing a frag for no reason/randomly shooting a wall and someone walks into it, those actions serve no purpose as an innocent. If you are shooting at someone that does something traitorous, then you are just following the main objective as an innocent. It's all about why you were doing something dangerous in the first place.

In crossfire, you are attempting to kill someone that with a) did something traitorous or b) is an innocent; you're a traitor. In accidental RDM, you thrown a prop or misclick or don't have any intentions to play the objective of the game and randomly damage a player.

    It's all about the intent.

ok so lets say im a T and im standing there shooting an inno and i dont realize that my T buddy is in the middle because i thought he was an inno, so i shoot him by accident, i accidently hurt him but its considered "crossfire" because i had the "intent" to kill the inno, how is this not considered accidental RDM? I accidently hurt a T buddy.

It all depends on if you are just being reckless or following the main objective.

So if its recklessly shooting at a wall its crossfire and if its trying to complete an objective its crossfire?

Recklessly shooting a wall is RDM if someone walks into it. There are different scenarios where you are held responsible for people you kill, and if you have a good reason for being reckless, then you won't be held responsible.
