Denied - DarmaniLink's Appeal | SGM Community (Serious GMod)

Complete asinine reason for upholding a 2 week ban on a server that isn't going to last much longer. I haven't played in several years. I placed things and turtles on peoples heads in previous points in that map. I've placed other random items on peoples heads before too that aren't explosive.

I've seen people carrying around explosive barrels that get shot and people die as a result.

This isn't metagaming. This is accidental RDM at worst.
This is just power tripping from someone who knows they won't have it much longer. Nobody was significantly impacted in the same way someone who lets their friend into a T room would be.​

I asked the admins, gathered my evidence, and @Pierogi took care of it. Other than that, I don't have much to say.

 

The first time it happened I thought it was a frag.

How is this even considered "metagaming" when I see people doing this with explosive barrels all the time, KNOWING that they will explode?
I see people propkilling detectives sometimes even though they're innocent.

I saw other people carrying around turtles during the round too where people died as a result. Is that metagaming?

This is RDM at worst and to call this metagaming is just power tripping.

 

I haven't played on that map since at least 2016.
I've been extremely careful since then of the rules.
I haven't played TTT since at least 2019.
I completely forgot that was a T trap until the health station when I was waiting for him to stand up to put it on his head

Why isn't bringing an explosive barrel considered metagaming?

 

Alright, I'll accept that given the outcome.
I'll avoid doing stupid stuff with props so this doesn't reoccur.
