Since we're gonna transition to AHG, and we're gonna have same game-engine (duh) I thought of maybe helping new players understand weird in-game mechanics or tricks, just post your question here and I'll (try to) answer to mostly everything (with video!!!) For example: If you push someone downwards while they're falling, their acceleration doubles (even cuadruples if you hit it right) increasing the fall damage to a potential 50 to 250 times it's initial damage
mfers think that just because we're switching servers that they should get all the secret tech smfh use the wrinkles on ya brain to figure shit out once you see someone do it you jabronis
just posting this because last time I was in servers I propkilled someone and a couple of players where like , you have no idea how much my brain grew when I found out how to send someone flying while in Bombrush
so you never noticed that when you pass someone the bomb in bombrush that it pushes them away from you so that you have a slightly better chance of getting away from the person you just passed it to? and then you didnt immediately think "holy shit i bet i can send someone flying with that or someone can send me flying"? idk man maybe you guys just need to be a bit more perceptive and actually try to figure out how the source engine interacts with you, your surroundings and the things you can directly influence yourself
Back when I found this out noone really knew how to do it tbh, but figuring out source stuff, having in consideration how wacky the engine is, it's like understanding rocket physics
here ill give you one trick, you can p much do the same thing with the crowbar push you just wont go as far
as far as I've tested, fucking everything affects how far you go, literally if you're not in the same tile, you won't go as far. It's so fucking wacky and hard to understand but when you manage to get it it's amazing
You can do the same with gun shots too due to pushback/aimpunch It's fun to go flying cause someone shottys your arsehole while you're bhopping
