Take a look at this when you get time, no particular rush.

Read Jabbas report/conclusion on the report against Sanchez and my post in the report on Jabba. I think it makes my position pretty clear. Your leadership seems to think that moderators using their brains isn't required.

More importantly, Jabba and Lordy have glossed over a major breach of protocol from Sanchez that contributed to and escalated the situation. They both are ignoring the fact that due to mistraining Sanchez only wrote reports on Trash and did not handle them as the only staff member in the server. If those reports had been handled, and Trash slain immediately, the situation most likely would have not developed as it had. I honestly don't see why this isn't being addressed.

The fact that a major issue in training, handling ones own reports, was not communicated is also an issue. One of which only Ryan seems to want to address, which I thank them for. I thought you might want to be made aware of your senior leadership team sweeping things under the rug by omission.​

You fully investigated the Sanchez report regarding delays, even calling Trash extremely petty for making it. When I made my thread and reported you for what I felt was an incorrect judgement, you gave a blithe response that you had nothing more to add. Which hey, fair, I'm reporting you on your judgement which I believe to be incorrect.

I then posted into the thread a developing piece of information that came to light during discussions, Sanchez wasn't handling reports timely, which you and Lordy both decided to ignore. Do I honestly need to go back and write a one sentence report on Sanchez for you to take a look at it considering I dropped it in a report against you and your judgement which I would hope that you would be monitoring? If your mod had followed protocol the situation would have manifested differently and all of these reports would've been avoided.

The fact that you don't even want to address or engage with this in this report is telling. Your mod was mis-trained and made a mistake that materially contributed to and escalated the situation. Apparently that isn't important to you for some reason I can't fathom besides bias against Trash considering they felt they had a valid complaint with a mod not moving an obviously afk player to spec and slaying with three people, one of which was afk, in the server.


I think its fair to say you and I are on opposite sides of the spectrum regarding these events.

 

I'm replying to let you know that I saw this report. I already explained myself in previous reports, so Highwon will handle the rest of my part.

 

No jabba, just some accountability and among staff, there was no investigation of the situation, there was a defense of sanchez with a premeditated goal. same thing happened with the titan report I made, "well he did kinda fuck up. but a report afterwards doesnt fix anything". I know im not allowed to comment here but f it this is kinda ridiculous, shouldnt have taken 3 reports and days for yall to find out what happened, only for it to ultimately be a shortcoming on your end that resulted into the escalation of this situation as Enemy Bot Rule pointed out.

 

I honestly don't know how to respond to the final quote beyond calling you childish, Mr. "Evil Staff Illuminati". I couldn't give a flying fuck about the color of my report, but I do have an issue when two different leads publicly ignore a mod's mistake that materially contributed to exacerbating a situation.

Two lead admins publicly ignored a deviation from protocol resulting in mis-training of Sanchez that exacerbated a situation that resulted in a report against said moderator. Ryan is the only one who has publicly admitted to a situation and resolved it with Sanchez. Trash in no way is innocent, he definitely did RDM. But I think its fair to say that if the report had been handled correctly and promptly, only one RDM would have occurred. I still don't agree with both you and Lordy that slaying Trash in a three person server was the correct call, but hey, thats why Highwon is tagged here.

Neither your or Lordy have publicly admitted that Sanchez made a mistake. You decided to not respond, and I assume Lordy decided to gloss over it since they didn't mention it. You were Sanchez's admin as they were a member of the discretionary team. Their inaction resulted in allowing a situation to continue, reports to stack up, and a player was nearly banned for it. Apparently this doesn't rate a "Sanchez fucked up, but you fucked up too and we'll make sure they're informed and correct this" post from you. Literally all I have from the senior leadership from this community is silence regarding this issue.

What do I want? Since we've established between Ryan and yourself that this mis-training has been corrected, I honestly want Highwon to take a look at this and how you're interacting with the community and for you two to have a serious talk. You publicly ignored an issue with your mod that you are responsible for. I frankly believe that you've show bias against Trash between your response in his report and how you've treated mine. The fact that your mod make a mistake, contributing to the situation, and that didn't move the needle in the slightest is telling. I don't know why Lordy didn't touch on it, but I'll leave that up to Highwon. I'd also like Highwon to take a look these reports and think that issuing slays in a three person server, one of which was afk, was really the right call. It may be perfectly fine under the rules, but a little initiative in moving the afk and discretion should've been applied here.


I'll be frank here. I honestly don't know whats going on with you. You've gotten short, glib, blithe, and now in this report rude with people questioning your decisions when you feel it isn't worth your time. You're disrespecting players by calling them petty for writing reports where they feel they have valid concerns on how they were treated given the circumstances. You need to take a step back and do like Spiteful did, take a break. The serious question in your actions, should our senior leadership behave like you have lately?
