If there is anything I can do to help @Highwon let me know. I may not be a programmer or have any programming knowledge, but I do know my way around a computer pretty well and might be able to suggest something that could help.

 

You guys have the best TTT servers and community HANDS DOWN! Thanks for all of the hard work and determination man!

 

i've seen many servers just call it quits and/or give into the ones committing the attacks. high respect for you highwon, for not only trying to solve the issue yourself, but also trying to help Valve get their engine patched so no one else has to deal with the stress. truly never seen someone so dedicated for the sake of wanting to be dedicated, makes me glad i'm a part of here.

I just came into 5 grand for free lol.... totally legal way. So if you need more to help I got you.
Also if you know the username of who did it, this is illegal. You can contact steam and see what they can do. Then go to law enforcement with what you have.

 

DDoSing a server on a video game ranks at the bottom of the list of priorities in terms of seeking legal punishment. Most people would rather go after the attackers that target the government or big businesses.

would this be similar to like a ddos? i am not sure of the vulnarabilites with source engine in terms of attacking a server, but it seems as though it may need to be IP based? couldn't you contact the host and ask to have refreshed IP?/ (granted we would need to update our bookmarks etc)
