as long as their friends and both players are cool with it and its not excessive who cares its a game after all lets have fun

 

I'm pretty biased because I 100% did this type of shit when I staffed on minecraft servers but "meme abuse" is really funny, unless these are used to gain an in game advantage or as revenge I really don't think it should matter. Teleporting to the skybox and going big mode is funny as fuck and I wish staff did it more, I've only experienced once in game and that's one of the most memorable rounds I've played. I think for the most part the staff who will jokingly 'abuse' know the type of player who will get the joke so I don't see too many problems with that. However there could be problems if a player gets gagged as a joke, and then seriously rgagged then banned due to miscommunication or something, or if a mod decided to jokingly gag someone, and then changed their mind to say "actually that wasn't a joke" and give more punishment that'd be stupid. I doubt that would happen because I think staffs allowed to do all this stuff rn and no one has gone too far, or even really affected the outcomes of any rounds I've been in by doing this type of stuff, but you never know I've seen and staffed with shady people in my time Gameing.. infiinite staff power always corrupst....
