New Traitor Weapon: DNA Swaper

    As a T you buy something called a "DNA Blah Blah" (Dont know what it should be called) and you can use it ONCE on a player. What it does is takes your DNA and puts it into the other player. So when a detective gets DNA from someone you killed, it leads to the victim of the dna swaper.
    We were thinking that when you take the swaper out it makes a knife sound so you can hear it coming.
    But once again this is just a suggestion and I don't know if it's even possible. Your opinions are welcome.

    This idea seems unrealistic. The DNA scanner is already unrealistic but this.. This makes it worse.

    I think a better setup would be to have a tool where you can collect a DNA sample of a player (you have to silently go up to them and click them - it makes no noises). Once you have a sample, you can go to a dead body and plant the sample on the body.

    For example, I secretly grab the DNA off of Captain-Vodka (the weapon itself just makes you look holstered), now I have that part of the sample so on to the next part. Grabbing a sample off a player leaves your own DNA on them (for the duration of knifing someone, about 2 and a half minutes worth of DNA). If you kill someone, you can go to the body and plant the DNA on it - keep in mind you can only plant it if there is no DNA on the body in the first place(or it's expired). Once you plant the DNA you, of course lose the sample and consequently, the tool. If someone DNA scans it, they get the sample of your victim and then proceed to go kill them. If this all happened within that 2-3 minute time frame once the victim dies if they get DNA'd, two samples will pop up. Yours, and their killer.

    It might be worthwhile to make it last longer(3-4 minutes?).

    Traitors already have the "decoy" to counter DNA scans. On maps with a T-room they can render the scans completely useless since innos won't be able to access and destroy it (unless a fellow traitor places a nearby C4).

    yeah i like @Zikeji s version better i was really just spit balling inbetween rounds. however I dont think it should look like youre holstered. I think the one advantage an Inno should have on the T is that it can be seen or heard so if it's only two people its obivous, though if you're in a crowd it can cause high hysteria and paranoia (or at best for t's an RDM chain). most other t weps have this disadvantage why not this one as well?
