I called a live check, no one responded figured i was last inno. he had a harpoon so i shot him. thats what happened.

 

You may never KoS or kill due to someone not responding to an alive check. The only way you're able to utilize an alive check, is if there is only one other person left who has to the the traitor. If nobody responds, it's very likely that nobody saw/heard you.

However, if he had a harpoon that makes this entire report a null point. Regardless of an alive check or even if you were confirmed Deepsea, if you had a t-weapon (a harpoon) out he had every right to kill you on the spot.

With this being toned down to word versus word with a lack of evidence, I'm afraid no action can be taken in either direction.

You see, I believe this is a case of confusion rather than simple RDM. Just before this occurred in the logs, you can see another incident occurring. I killed a traitor, and turned around to see someone shooting someone else for apparently carrying a harpoon. Meanwhile, I picked up a harpoon and killed that someone with it. Then, someone else-else ran in and killed me for killing someone for shooting at someone else. I believe this was just in the hall of this room, and this confusion spread over to this case and it's entire mess.

Which is why I opt that this report is closed, yet not forgotten as Elsid has learned his lesson for the alive check-thing despite not having broken any actual rules due to Deepsea debatably having had a harpoon- something only evidence we don't have would show.
