So my dad just barged in my room yelling at the top of his lungs. "You little piece of shit you are never going to amount to anything if you keep playing that stupid fucking game of yours all day"! Thanks Dad. For making me feel like a worthless piece of shit. Thanks.
Set your priorities and focus on the important things first before you decide to play games. If you can set priorities, then you won't have any problems, and your parents won't have any problems to bug you about while you're relaxing. Unfortunately life isn't all fun and games, you've got to work hard and accomplish your own goals in life. Don't get upset with your parents, they only mean the best for you, they want you to succeed in life, and perhaps the issue is you're not spending enough time on the important things in life, such as school for example. Take pride in being good at something, work hard at it, and then you won't feel like a "worthless piece of shit", and people won't think of you as that either. Set your priorities higher for school than that of gaming, and ask yourself what you want to be in life, and how are you going to get there? Are playing games going to get you there? the answer is no. School whether you like it or not is the precursor to getting a job, and you need a job to be successful in life. Limit your time playing games, focus more of your time on school, and after that then you will be able to find time for gaming.
I have a job as a line cook at a golf and country club and I am fighting for the Gold Gloves in boxing.
+1. Just kidding, that sucks. Maybe he's just tired of hearing you yelling into your mic and it annoyed him until he snapped. I get tired of hearing my brother play and I'm pretty sure he gets tired of me.
My father makes sure to tell me this every time i sit down and play for an hour over the summer instead of doing some dumbshit chores after i get off work or im not with my girlfriend. I work 60hr weeks when im home... youre not alone buddy
