We are planning on shutting down both our EU servers to allow us to further focus on our US servers. There is no reason to keep those running right now and keeping our operational costs high. In the future, if we see the need for EU servers then we can consider re-opening those. There is no set date yet but potentially June 6th or 7th.
Will this be the same thing as the west and east 2 shutdown where the servers will still show up on the !stats command? Also rip.
Do you think we should remove those stats from the stats page? The data will remain even if we shut down the servers.
No because it all contributes information when the time is right to have that information, for example when you are applying. If we take out that data from the public the hours shown will be off by a lot for some people who regularly play on EU servers.
Will you be re-purposing the EU servers into more US servers if we can get more population on east and west?
I understand removing EU2, because people rarely play on it, but EUnilla? It is like the second most populated server, at least when Im online...
