RDM gets away by lying

Reason For Report: (What did he/she do?) He helped a traitor to kill me and explained to mod I was t-baiting, he gets away from punishment from his lie. When the traitor was shooting me, he was behind the traitor, then he stopped shooting after killed me, even it is the Traitor shoot first and he told everyone on mic I was t-baiting. I reported this to Thorn but Thorn never slay him.

I'm not too sure I follow ok what you're reporting Doug Dimmadome for. From the articles of information you have presented, there is hardly much to go by with what I'm assuming you're reporting him for.

The logs show that he saw you shooting and killed another player(whom had yet to be identified.) Shooting, in general, at players damaging them or not, is a Traitorous act and is Kos-able.

Doug Dimmadome could have "lied" and got away with it, but based on the logs(what the staff uses to judge most of our cases) we can't punish him for that.

You're are correct that players can get off of slays by simply claiming Tbaiting. We do however check the shootlogs and see if this is evident of their claims. So, we can see if you truly did or not. In this situation, you were shot at first but Doug would have had no way of knowing that, nor would we have a way of disproving that he did know that.

Players can also lie and slay evade by claiming they heard a KOS via mic, claim the victim walked past un-Id, or even say you brandished a T weapon. We are aware cases like these happen. They also, in fact, happen at such a low rate that it's hardly an issue. If a player is consistent in lying and consistently slay evading, we would act accordingly then.

From the information you've provided us, we can hardly do much.

But I didn't kill that player or at least one player yet.

 

You shot your friendly before doug shot you. That means when he was shooting you, you were doing damage to another player, which is traitorous up and until you ID the body as a traitor.
