So I had just thought of this cool new perk that could be added in the TTT tab in the f3 pointshop that you could upgrade. This will only be for Traitors and Detectives. When you use a teleporter, it will have a 2 second delay from the time you activate it until the time when you actually teleport to your marked location. So for the perk, you can upgrade it up to five times, with each level decreasing the teleportation time by .5 seconds, and the last level will live true to its name by instantly teleporting by the press of a button, in this case right clicking your mouse. This could potentially lead for this item to be substantially more useful and could even save you after killing someone if you are a traitor. The only downside to this is that the number of uses also reduces as the upgrade levels increase. So the level 5 upgrade could only have like 4-5 uses to balance it out so it won’t be overpowered.
id like to see it go down to 1 second but if it was insta it would have to cost a lot to upgrade completely
When you think about it though, it takes time before you can even activate the teleporter. You have to pull it out first. Hence leaving a small amount of time (~1 sec) to shoot someone. So upgrading to instant tp isn’t as overpowered as it seems. Also if the last level for instant tp is in the 30’s or 40 thousand it a good idea IMO. Especially when you consider 1 hit knife, death station heals and such. This would benefit both detectives and traitors.
I like this, as said above it isn't really OP since pulling it out takes a second, it would be really expensive, and you'd get a reduced number of uses. +1
while I wouldn't agree with insta tp, an upgrade similar to say radar scan rate, where it just reduces the time a tp takes each level of upgrade would be neat alternatively, a secondary function which has a bind in bind settings (like disguiser) which IS an instant tp but its loud and has a very long cool down (the ability to use it has to be purchased in the point shop) then more upgrades reducing the cooldown and the noise it makes
