Vanilla Mod Team

Now with addition of the Mass RDM fest that Vanilla is.
I believe i speak with some of my current mod team that i'd rather not play that server simply because i don't enjoy that plain TTT.

So i thought to suggest a mod team just for vanilla, they would work in the way that trial mods do but having limited powers, they would be able to slay and kick but would have to get a Mod/Admin to ban a player.

This position would be mainly for players who play Vanilla specifically and they would only moderate that server.

is it possible to have a temporary mod for vanilla.

 

Maybe we could have a vanilla team that's staff only on the vanilla server. it's possible

 

Yeah, if we added more staff, I think there's no reason it shouldn't be unstaffed. It is a Serious TTT server and, after all, we are STTT staff.

 

Being a traitor on vanilla is less about avoiding getting caught and more about avoiding getting RDM'd lol

I agree with this, but would like to add one stipulation: They have to be recommended for that position. We can't just pick anyone to moderate the team without any particular reason. So a team of vanilla mods should be selected by those higher up the position chain (so basically leave it up to the admins or above). Basically another separate application, but tailored specifically for those who mainly play on the vanilla servers.

 

I'm not sure this will be necessary once we have our mod slots filled. I'm sure at least a few of the future mods will favor our Vanilla server, and hopefully, it'll be covered constantly then. I personally don't mind the Vanilla server, but I know there's others who also don't prefer Vanilla because of the playstyle, but at the same time there's also others who willingly play on Vanilla because they enjoy it. I feel like an entire other moderator team will add too much unnecessary complication. Because we are STTT (as a whole) staff, there should at least be a few people who won't mind/enjoy covering Vanilla.

And that would be great if we had a few mods just for that server, that weren't mods anywhere else. Man that server is an RDM fest, I volunteer to mod it though! (if you will let me.)

 

I really like the Vanilla by the way. I go on there a lot now. I'm not to sure about the idea though, but I'm not against it!

I could do it. I go to Online school, I could be on from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. EST.

We do have some sort of mod playerbase on vanilla but thats only about 2 mods @Guilty-Crown and some other mod i cannot remember at the moment but we do have some that enjoy vanilla . but this is not a bad idea . Sort of like a lower mod position.

QUESTIONS: Who would these " Minute Men" be supervised by ? the mods or by the admins? and if so how many would there be?
