Depends on who you are and what your lifestyle is like If you're inactive/low energy, want something independent of you, still want love and affection when needed, and/or live in a small space, cats are usually the way to go. Generally introverts. If you're active, want to put time and patience to care for an animal, give and receive love and affection, and/or live in a bigger area, dogs are usually the way to go. Generally extroverts. Point is, the question isn't "which one is better", it's which one suits your personal lifestyle and needs but dogs are better
Doesn't really mean that everyone who preffers cats is an introvert or vice versa, and also I have a pretty big house and yard, but the fact that people preffer cats because of our lack of energy is true off the chart.
usually i say i fucking hate dogs cause they're gross as shit. like they roll in cow shit then come and start expecting you to pet them, or lick you as you tie your shoes. I hate being licked, so if my dog licks me I just punch it and say no. I like cats but they're so fucking useless. and at least ur dog will shit outside. For a practical pet, pick a dog. You gotta find the right breed for you. For me I enjoy my small ass, low maintenance, rat & snake killing machine, Jack Russell. she has 3 knees and is still kickin'
Also Isle of Dogs. and Marley and Me. and 101 Dalmatians. and Lassie. and All Dogs go to Heaven. Oh fuck but cats have Garfield :'((((
My dog is trained because I discipline it. "punch" was only used for memes lmao wtf who punches an animal. cheers - was waiting for someone to call me out
