let me begin by saying sorry for my actions, my behaviour was inappropriate as a moderator.
i will use a more impartial tone when dealing with players in the future i do not know as a staff member, as my sense of humour(sarcasm) is an acquired taste(edited)

and my response to @Noob999 to close the false report since i did nothing that round and it was filed against the wrong player. however noob had left the server by then so i had to handle(close) the report myself(edited)

Hello kraig9.

The way Haruka Suenaga spoke to you is unacceptable as a staff member and far from the higher standards which our staff try to maintain at all times.

I would just like to say that I was not ignoring you when you sent a private message to me.
I was making a cup of tea at the time. I thought Haruka would be able to look after the server while I was gone for about three minutes.

I did check my chat history upon my return and sent you a message asking for screenshots.
Many players think Admins can see all the private messages on the server this is not true.
You replied that you were going to file a report on the forum.

To start with I thought it was a standard misunderstanding over why you were killed in this case DNA which is a common problem as players miss the text box that pops up and says they had your DNA.

If a staff member is unable to explain why something has or has not being done by them it's recommended to recommend that they should file a forum report against the staff member in question.

Haruka is the current longest serving mod in our staff team at 423 days.
That achievement does not take away from the seriousness of what happen. however I still think he can be a force for good in our community, so I'm willing give him another chance.

Haruka is suspended from staffing and playing on our servers for one week.
I will have a long talk with him about how we can avoid anything like this happening again.

After reviewing the matter, I have taken the needed steps to transition the punishment of this case from a suspension to a demotion. The blatant disregard of staff rules and etiquette shown on this matter is dramatically more than what is acceptable. I apologize for the experience you've had and I thank you for taking your time to bring it up here on the forums.
