So, often I'll have convos with live players while dead myself that are completely unrelated to TTT or the game at all. That's pretty clearly not ghosting information or anything round changing, but would it be considered distracting or affecting the game?
The live player chooses to respond and if they don't then I don't type more till they do (no need to spam they're busy playing), and usually when replying to a pm I and others will quickly hide, preventing any earlier a death.

And a likely more clear-cut case: Would PMing something like "are you blind?" be ghosting, since it may make a player reconsider a recent event, revealing the traitor or information? - (my pms are usually more along the lines of "good shot" or a lenny face of approval, but just as a Q)

I imagine these, notably the latter, are up to mod/admin discretion, but in general..

The first case is not ghosting. That would be a skew on words and isn't following the intent of the ghosting rules.

The second case is as you stated, discretionary at some level. Messaging something such as "are you blind?" is definitely within the capacity to affect what a living player is doing and is technically ghosting regardless, but in this case I'd suggest for mods to inquire about discretion to be sure.

  3. On the same topic, what about PMing a player saying "LOOK OUT!" when there's absolutely nothing to look out for just to see them frantically look around?

That is considered ghosting as the message itself is deceptive and can affect the outcome of the round.
