Not true, I was saying that I was planning to resign(Which I was/am) and to treat the situation as if staff were not online.

I ended up dealing with all reports and nothing came of it, this was just me being melodramatic, which has been dealt with. Not sure what the reason for this report is, since I actually DID my mod duties, and ended up dishing out slays for reports before the map ended.

 

That is pretty much promoting RDM

 

Wofllord, while you're still a staff member you're supposed to enforce the rules, if you didn't want to enforce them you should have waited till after you resigned. Other staff members aren't as likely to join a server already staffed, but if you're not enforcing rules you're ruining the experience. Don't worry though, you're demoted in-game so you won't have to worry now. We'll look forward to your official resignation shortly.

 

If you specifically state "I'm not condoning RDM, but I'm not going to bother dealing with reports, I'm resigning" then I'd disagree, but whatever. I dealt with the reports, and have told my admin I was resigning.

 

That was completely unacceptable. You're still a moderator until you resign. Telling people that if they RDM you won't do anything about it, is promoting RDM. If there were ten reports, there were just ten cases of people RDMing on the server and getting away with it, because your fellow staff could assume the server was being moderated appropriately.

 

Even if you were resigning that doesn't mean you can't just do the job you signed up for, for maybe a day or 2 at the min.

 

You're no longer a staff member in game, so you don't have to worry about people getting at you for not enforcing the rules.

Except there was nobody that "Got away" with rdm, because eventually I dealt with the reports before the map ended, but I agree, *Shrug*. Can't change what's already done, and you're better off now than before, it's not like you ever actually thought I was mod-material anyways.

 

You thought this why? If I don't think someone is mod material, I would let them know. Don't make this seem like I was out to get you. The only person you can hold accountable is yourself.
