When the traitor buys Impact Boots, their next three falls won't inflict fall damage. i.e Let's say they're on the highest shelf on dolls. The traitor caps an inno and everyone is chasing him. He buys the impact boots and makes a clean getaway.
could be useful but at the same time pretty easy to notice who has them if they don't die from that height (if the person accidentally falls off a height and survives w/o damage) +-=1
I see this happening more often than not honestly. This would need to have an activate/deactivate button thats easily accessed. Another thing, does anyone have any link to the workshop that has this? I 100% doubt that they will custom make it soooo
I mean, the christmas fun event had fall damage turned off, so they already have the code to negate fall damage. Anyways, +1. And the people that worry about noticing people not dying when they fall, well, if the fall wouldve killed you anyways who cares if youre seen? You can still fight and try to survive.
I'm pretty neutral on this one. It would make for an interesting combo with a teleporter on maps like metropolis/canyon/rooftops/lifetheroof. Make a really clean getaway, heal, zap back up. Rinse, repeat until they wear off.
My only concern is with maps where you can fall off and not be able to get back up like ns_street (which was the case during the boss fight few times).
boss fight was insta-kill for bosses, rooftops they could get back up I think the areas would just (need to) do damage other than fall if this is added
for maps that have areas like that, map devs can just add a kill zone on the floors of the maps so instead of dying to the fall damage youre dying to the kill zone
I like this idea, also i agree with Atlas, i would like to see this as a detective item. I feel like it would add a bit more variation in terms of the bonuses you get from being a detective. +1
Kinda torn on this. On one side I'd love to not take fall damage on my t/d round. The other I feel like it could be a dead giveaway if some cunt throws a discombob and you 'somehow' survive.
