That mobo doesnt appear to have an m.2 slot or i would have gone with that. The mx500 isnt a bad ssd tho honestly look up the reviews
I mean once you get the OS on the usb stick the BIOS will prioritize that usb stick to run since it has the files. I could also walk someone through the process.
its not the booting procvess people have trouble with its the making the usb drive a bootable disc. I had some trouble getting it to format and stuff but idk that was just me
This is what I use: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 the program does all the work for you or at least it did for me.
I think buying an APU would be the best option for this. GPU's are super expensive right now. It'd get the cost down to $700 + windows, which is still a ton of money. I added the power supply from elvis' list. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hdRhMZ
Ya they are expensive which is sad. I got my 1050ti for only 150 bucks. Not having a gpu in the current build will allow for upgrades down the road, but how well does the apu stand? I don’t know anything about the apu. Compared to the 1050ti ofc Edit: just looked at some benchmarks of the apu, and it’s suprisingly good. 60 FPS avg on bf1 at 720p. That’s... insane
Have you guys considering possibly funding a Nintendo Switch or PS4? I know we're primarily a gaming community but shipping on of those via Amazon is going to be 10x easier if you just purchase for the amazon of the winners country.
Aight I'll pitch in something or something edit since the options are 5-100 I'll choose 100 dollarinos
Updated the parts list again. 250gbssd + 1tb HDD -> 500gb ssd. Reduced the price of the RAM by using a brand I've never heard of (Geil??) Need 16gb since APU needs graphics memory. Changed mobo too to reduce cost by $50 or so. Changed case because holy shit, built one with this S340 elite yesterday, and its my new favorite case https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pdvgsZ Can't go much cheaper and maintain performance. Currently at $650 + windows.
So in this build you expect whomever recives this to have the gear to go with it? You should realise that most people play on a laptop so something like a monitor and keyboard may not be something they have, much less a proper desk or chair.
