    Yes, I will say it.

Why is there even an option to buy a jackhammer if it's worse than 85% of weapons on the map, and purchase-able weapons? Fix it to where it was before I buy one in real life and accidentally kill someone with it because I thought it was a Nerf gun, all because of that newbile update.

Also make D smg do more damage. Right now the only things worth buying as a D is a health station and teleporter.

    Thank you for your time,

-1 on the Jackhammer. It's perfectly fine the way it is. Detectives shouldn't be able to turn the table on the traitors easily. If you want to do well with it, aim for the head. And also you can't buy one in real life because they're rare and no gun collector will ever give theirs up.

Now on the UMP, it definitely needs a buff. +1 on that.

  3. There is no point in using Jackhammer as the normal shotguns outpower it, it seriously needs a buff

Yes, either buff the jackhammer or get rid of it altogether is my opinion. You can literally say "aim for the head" with every weapon.

The damage output iirc is still the highest with a headshot, so just aim for the head.

Players used to run down 5-6 t’s IN ONE ROOM without dying themselves bc of how op this gun used to be. It should stay just how it is. It’s no longer a spray and pray but rather a..... aim..... and game...? Someone has to come up with that slogan btw

    Aim and... "wow. Lame."

Well at least buff it so I want to maybe actually buy the thing instead of shooting myself in the head while I'm a detective!

the intervals between each shot are so slow you'll lose to a player with a mp7 9 times out of 10. Even with it dealing a lot of damage to the head usually gun fights are long range which makes the jackhammer at a disadvantage with the spread and the mp7 literally drilling more bullets into you before you can even fire the next shot. Hey you damaged them but you didn't kill them. It should be tweaked abit more for it to be better balanced weapon since its a Detectives signature weapon of choice.

I think if it is worse than all shotguns than it needs a buff. I'm not saying that it needs to spit fire like a dragon, or that it needs to crush people before they even realize, I'm just saying a tiny buff may make the weapon good at what it is intended to do: Help a detective survive better. The idea here is that you give a mean ass shotgun to the detectives to make the traitors have to play a longer game. We don't want traitors to be able to murder all the detectives in one fail swoop, giving them jackhammers fixes this problem. Now that the Jackhammer is in-operable I believe it should be buffed.

Nerfing a weapon shouldn't make it a "fuck this i'm not using it" gun. That defeats the purpose of this game being fun. I am sorry, but i'd rather kill someone in 5 bullets than empty 3 clips into him. It makes those moments where you do manage to kill off an attacker so much more satisfying, because you survived the 5 bullets.

Bottom line: Gun should be buffed, but not to where it was previous. Just a small kick in the ass to make it viable again.

+1 fix jackhammer why is it a D weapon if it sucks more ass than a vacuum and you'd rather just use a regular shotgun

    @Opalium @Casual

Side note: why should a shotgun be used to aim for headshots when that's not the use of a shotgun :thonkang: though grants extreme confidence in a kill a shotgun is high spread after short distance many bullet impact on a body not a damn sniper rifle to be shot very intermittently with no benefit unless you hit a meaty headshot

    -1, seems more balanced IMO.
Fire rate is garbage now but it still has high damage and high accuracy in terms of distance compared to all other shotguns.

Can't really ask for a sniper shotgun with high fire rate like last time (pre nerf).

If there's no need to buff it then remove it as a D weapon because it's not effective in any way shape or form compared to a normal shotgun which now outclasses it. Why waste a credit on something so utterly useless when you get an improvement weapon that regularly spawns. Isn't the point of D and T items to give you a strong weapon unique to their classes and not a pile of poop?

The classic "detectives shouldn't be able to kill traitors so quick" argument is honestly pointless. Why? The traitors have the upper hand all the time.

Even without special class weapons, the traitors (or terrorists) have access to many great weapons such as the ACR and HK-SL8. In those cases, you don't even need to buy special weapons as a traitor to wipe out an entire server. Do remember, we have quite a quite large ruleset to prevent RDM, and in many cases this aids the traitors as it causes the innocents to overthink their actions simply so they can't be slain, which in term gives the traitor enough time to kill them.

With special class equipments is where it gets interesting. The traitors have a very large arsenal, such that even the most inexperienced traitor can wipe out 8 innocents in one go and win the round. There's the Jihad and C4, both explosives with a large radius and high kill potential. Dragonuv and MP7; the Dragonuv being an excellent rifle with a silencer attached and nice fire rate, with the MP7 with good damage+ amazing fire rate. Then there's all the other weapons which allow the traitors to be able to trick the innocents and detectives such as the Decoy and Radio, although harder to use as they require more thinking,

Whereas the innocents are basically terrorists that have to be able to kill any traitor they see. They have no special equipment whatsoever (excluding perks from the pointshop). They have to either wait to be killed, wait for someone to commit a traitorous act and kill them, or cheese the round and wait till round end. They're very much limited in what they can do since TTT is such an elaborate role playing minigame. The Detective are the elites of the innocents. They should be able to wipe out traitors quickly. The Jackhammer was a great weapon, but lately there's no point in buying it anymore due to how much it got nerfed. You can say aim for the head, but that's easy for one to say but harder to do for many people. The Jackhammer is a shotgun, meaning it's not supposed to aim for the head, rather being burst fire. In the time you aim for the head as a detective, the traitor will have already harpooned or stabbed you. No real point in going with such a poor argument.

TL;DR , detectives are supposed to be the best innocents. They should have a good weapon accordingly. The Jackhammer hence needs a buff, preferably in fire rate.

The JackHammer was nerfed because of how over powered it was before. The gun was too easy to kill people with and it was almost as op as the db. It doesn't need a fix.

    You're missing the point.

It was strong before, we know.

It's useless now which you've yet to acknowledge.

It's more useless than a regular shotgun.

The jackhammer, now a weapon more useless than a regular shotgun, is a D item that requires a credit to be used.

Therefore, why have the jackhammer at all if it's not useful? Why waste a credit when a regular weapon can outclass it? Needs to be buffed, it's in a bad spot.

  20. I love you Pacifist no worries bruh.

The traitors need to be able to fight against the detective, however they outnumber him about 3:1. The Jackhammer needs to be fast enough to be a problem, I liked how it was before.
