Player A and Player B situation. Player A is walking around the map when he comes across player B, player B is holding a db (any gun could work in this situation), he attempts to shooting player A, but the gun has no ammo, player A hears the click of the gun and knows it has no ammo, why is player A not allowed to kill player B if he knows player B was attempting to kill him.

Why would it not go under T-acts through? If someone walks up to you IRL, points a gun at you, pulls the trigger but it clicks due to lack of ammo, do you just let him walk by?

Sure it's not listed as a T-act in the rules, but why is it not in the rules in the first place? Its pretty clear that the guy just tried to kill you.

Because you don't know if player B was attempting to kill player A.

No shots were fired and it would be an equally fair presumption that the player was aware of his empty clip.
While there is great logic to suspecting the player, due to the possibility of them having attempted to kill you, in absence of actual shots, they did not t-bait.

And the reason, I presume, the rules are as such is that: there was not any danger due to the empty magazine.
As opposed to actual shots, thrown nades, etc.
