Cold Fusion is not sustainable. Period.

And at the speed Nuclear Fusion research is being conducted currently given the lack of funds, its gonna take a while to achieve stable fusion in a lab. And in any case, it would be a huge reactor in which the fusion would take place, not a test tube.
