Reason For Report:

There was a player T-Baiting in the middle of about 20 players. I've been playing for 5 years and I know how people loophole the t-baiting rule. They turn around and shoot a lot, but it's still t-baiting.

Anyways, there was a guy t-baiting in front of a large group of people, and I killed him in 1 shot. I did it infront of the group of people, INCLUDING a detective. The guy I killed didn't report me, instead, Scares70rm did.

He slayed me on his own report for a death that no one but him had a problem with.

He says he has the Death Scene, but won't show me.

Now he has to.​

This was the report that was made against you and your reason for killing him was T baiting.

The deathscene, although glitchy, shows his bullets not flying "inches from your heads" as you stated here...

Also from your pov he was shooting up and away from players not towards them. While shooting towards players is kosable, shooting away from them isn't. All you could see was him shooting up.

Now I slayed you on my own report because that is my job to handle reports. As staff we are required to handle unreported damage to find any damage that may have taken place throughout the round.

This is all the evidence I have on the matter since it was a small incident. Anyways I pass the microphone on to @DieKasta , my (lead)admin to handle this report.

 

Even if he did not T-Bait me, he did T-Bait regardless.

 

Tbaiting on this server isn't necessarily Kosable. You have to be shooting towards a player, which you didn't know if he was. You saw him shooting up into the air and killed him without looking. Also in game you claimed he was shooting just over your head which he wasn't so either way you were incorrect. I followed protocol and slayed accordingly.

Anyways, I took the liberty to discuss AT LENGTH with an admin on this case, I will not name him or nor do I expect him or want him to reply to this, but he does agree it was T-Baiting. If an admin agrees, surely my claim can't be totally baseless, right?

You didn't follow protocol, everyone in the game knew it was T-Baiting. That's why he didn't report me, that's why no one shot me. He was an obvious t-baiter shooting in the middle of 15 people, and he got shot.

You're going to need a better excuse than "I followed protocol" and "You killed him without looking", which factually isn't true. I took time to see where he was shooting, observed carefully, determined he was t-baiting, and then killed him.

 

The deathscene shows that you looked only at him. Also the rules state "Shooting Towards Players" not at or near. I slayed you because you said he was shooting over your head. Which he wasn't.

 

Well an Admin disagrees with you, not just me.

Let's just see what your supervisor says.

I want to add I've had over 7 people add me to fill me in on your Mod History, and you don't seem too popular around these parts.

Maybe holding on to lost arguments is why

 

Its easy to say the reason you killed someone when you're watching the deathscene, but according to your reasoning in the match at the time of the incident he was shooting over your head which was not true, he was shooting up above everyone and you killed him for merely shooting. You were slayed for this reason. Now I may not be "popular around these parts" but its not a popularity contest. Its about moderating the servers and making sure the job is done right. I could care less what the other staff think about me, I do my job and I move on. I hardly play with the others anyways so their "filling you in" isn't a very valid statement coming from any of them. This is the last I will post on this thread so we will wait for @DieKasta to decide.

Hey Hodir, sorry for the delay.

After reviewing the evidence, it definitely does look as if the player you killed was indeed shooting near players heads from your viewpoint. However, it's quite obvious the player was shooting a no target in particular and just opening fire on the wall above you; so I can see why @Scares70rm put a slay on you. Nonetheless, I'd deem some of the shots he took close enough to players for you to take action and kill him. The whole situation is pretty marginal from both sides and, while I will be marking this complete, I'd encourage you to not kill players who are shooting at nothing in particular.
