TRAITOROUS ACTS *DOESNT APPLY TO DETECTIVES Shooting towards players (traitor baiting) Throwing frag, incendiary, or discombobulators Not identifying bodies Calling KOS on innocents Planting C4 Damaging traitor testers or health stations Having traitor weapons (silenced, knife, harpoon, tear gas, etc) ********Approaching another player with an explosive prop (explosive barrel, etc)**** He approached us, i felt threatened. I shot him, happened to hit barrel. Pretty sure he was a T, and its not my fault if he carried an explosive prop, which is KOSable, to his buddies Hiding traitor equipment (C4, decoy, radio) Entering/Leaving a traitor only area (traitor rooms)
yes, but you blowing the barrel killed like 5 people. killing me, (on my T round) and another guy in the room (a T)
As far as I can remember, it isn't nikowyang that should get in trouble. It is the guy who was carrying the barrel. If you pick up that barrel and head towards players, then it's your responsibility for anyone damaged by that barrel (as long as you have evidence that he was approaching players with it.
Here's how it works: While traitorous acts do not apply to detectives, RDMs still do. So if a detective shoots a barrel and kills people, its' still RDM. In this case, if niko was shooting at the person holding the barrel, and hit the barrel in the process (which can be seen in the damagelogs by multiple shots fired/having hit the person carrying it), then its considered crossfire. If Niko deliberately shot the barrel (1-2 shots fired, didn't hit any player), then it's RDM.
if an inno brings an explosive barrel into a crowd, and someone calls kos on them but hits the barrel in the process, the person held responsible is the person who was holding the barrel. this was discussed on the forums some time ago.
This is true; nikowyang did not RDM. If you happen to know who was holding the barrel at the time, we can determine if this was a case of RDM.
