Rejected Give detectives the right to force unproven people out of the d-room and claim it.

In innomotel's d-room, it's possible to glitch through the invisible wall to the d-room and this poses a rather annoying problem. Whenever one is a D in this map and goes to the said room, a bunch of innos are trying to glitch themselves through.

The first time it happened, i gave a warning shot and clear warning to get out of the room. He didn't obey and i shot him. He reported me for "room-claiming" which it wasn't because it's a D-ROOM FOR A BLOODY REASON. and even then, the admin decided to slay me for rdm. Just reflects the level of admin training on these servers.

Today it happened again. I told the terrorist to leave and he refused. Then i asked a mod to teleport him away. He answered:"i don't need to do that. you let him in" NO I FUCKING DIDN'T. Unlike him i know what a proven person means.

The best part is that the terrorist turned out to be a traitor and he killed me. I lost my d-run just and only because your mods/admins are incapable of doing their job. Get you sh*t together.

 

Can't Claim a room, and just because someone gets into the room there is no way to tell if they are a traitor or not.

4. No claiming rooms
This rule means that you may not KOS an entire area - as in killing anyone entering that area or being in it already. For instance, saying something like "KOS everyone on the roof of the building" or "whoever enters this room will be killed".

 

Just as we can't slay non-Ts in the T room, we cannot slay non-Ds in the D room

 

D-rooms are pointless if anyone can get in. If this is your attitude i'll just rdm every wankstein getting in there.

 

But not everyone can get in...They usually have a D-only wall - which others can glitch through if you're not careful - or a door only accessible by the Detectives pressing a button
If people are being let in, the blame can only be put on the Detectives who weren't careful. Stop whining

 

Hello Herra Kali, I can understand your frustration and I understand your point!
However on our sgmod servers we have a very strict rule that you can't claim rooms.

There actually are a few tips and tricks to make sure this situation doesn't keep happening to you!
There are two doors in Innomotel, the blue one, which people have to 'glitch through' is actually not an issue if you don't stay close.
The door only lets a detective through, that means only when a detective is very near (in contact with) the blue door it will open up. If you don't go near the door to 'crowbar people out' they will not be able to get in. So once you are in the room, just don't go near the door and don't touch it and it will be all fine.
Now for going in the room, make sure nobody is crouched where you'd have to jump over them. If you jump over them while they are crouching, they'll be moving forward at the same moment you go in so they'll be able to get in like that.
There's also a second door which the detectives can open on both sides, and anybody can walk in while that door is open, there's no tricks for this door, just don't use it

In short, inno's can glitch in, but only if a detective has contact with the door. So even though you're probably trying to keep them out, that's the reason they're getting in. Staff is not obliged to remove people who've gotten in the detective room, as there can also be a number of game play reasons a detective would let somebody in willingly. It is not a detective only room, its a room detectives can use strategically. I know it's called detective only, but if that were truly the case you could've coded it that anybody who isn't a D would instantly die.

I hope these tips and tricks will help you prevent people glitching through when you don't want them, and I also hope you can now see why you can't shoot people who do manage to glitch through and why others are technically allowed in the D room!

Yeah, detectives don't need to be blasting homies for being somewhere other than the T room. Only detectives can get into the d room anyways so if you mess up and let someone in their with you, you've compromised yourself.

You still can't kill people for blocking via giving warnings. You can pm a staff member to teleport them or just deal with it because many people love to crowd around the detective room and that's how it is.

 

Yea.... Cant kill others for entering a Detective Room.

Are you sure about that... After all Innocents are allowed to kill Detectives if they threaten their life, same for Ts that are attacked for no reason.

 

D rooms are silly anyways, no point n using them.

 

Like the rest mentioned, this is not something we want.
