Hello @QueenYuuko , and thank you for taking the time to report me.

So, to give some much needed context, here is what happened:
I was staffing with @Atlas earlier today and handling most conduct cases on the server.
A player named Komodoh had already been warned about using slurs to harass other players on the servers, and after dying I notice him saying this

I proceeded to follow protocol by kicking the player. Problem is, I ended up accidentally kicking @Korean BBQ. When I typed "!kick Ko" I accidentally pressed Enter, making me unable to lock on the correct player and give a reason for the kick, also making the reason for the kick the players second word on his name (BBQ).

After realizing my mistake and the player coming back rightfully asking why he was kicked, I immediately privately messaged the player, telling him why I unrightfully kicked him and clearing up the confusion. Here is one of the messages I sent him

The player, from what i understood, took the matter really lightly and was very understanding of my situation, which I do thank him for. @Korean BBQ feel free to give your input on this report and correct me if you feel like if not correctly representing you or the situation.

What I however never did, like you stated and pasted a supposed log of, is kick him a second time. If you believe im wrong and have evidence that favors this statement, feel free to post it by replying to this report.

All joking aside, I seem to have misjudged the situation, my apologies. I believe consistency is key here though

 

The case of the player youre referring to was handled afterwards, since I needed to get administrator discretion to proceed, given im just a mod and am only allowed to stick to the protocol. He was warned and changed his name after that. I am sorry the issue wasnt handled faster.

 

I love it. I love this job. Again, I hope you don't take this personally, I just think these people are hard enough to deal with sometimes. Clearly I made an error in judgement. It helps to laugh though, we'll always be salty in their eyes

 

Hi there @QueenYuuko, thank you for taking the time to report my moderator @Kyul. Let's get started.

What Kyul did was a mistake as pressing Tab will not always give you the correct player, and ended up kicking Korean BBQ by mistake. This is a very small mistake and he did contact Korean afterwards so he did his best to try and fix it, however, he still kicked the wrong person, so this report is valid. If you have any questions, feel free to start a conversation on the forums with me.
