Why you should be unbanned:

While playing on Vanilla TTT server, I was slayed for RDM, while someone in chat told me to type "Quit Smoking" into console. Curious, I did so, but it turns out that logs me outta the server and into the main Gmod menu. So I was banned for 14 days for "RDM and leave". I didn't really mean to leave, I just did it on accident. I was gonna stay and keep playing, but the console command just logged me out. Please unban me. Thanks.​

Tagging my mod, @ECHO-6251 to address your original ban. In the meantime; would you like to explain why you ban evaded not once, but twice before making an appeal?

 

LMAO, my bad dude, but i didn't know I could make an account on here and appeal to it. I JUST read the message that pops up after u get banned, should've payed attention instead of ban evading...

Now you left while the report was still on you and I was online. In turn the report was found valid, and therefore I banned you for RDM and Leave - 2nd Offense.

You claim that you typed "Quit Smoking" in the console and it logged you out of the server, but since you recall it from being in voice chat, I personally don't recall anyone saying that. A Also if you truly did leave because of that, then why didn't you rejoin? I waiting about a round and a quarter to see if you would rejoin, but you never did. And I also recall slaying you before a couple of times for RDM, and then you pull this. So convince me as to why I should unban you, and how you won't pull something like this again.

 

Actually I didn't hear it in VOICE chat, someone typed it out, it said "Type Quit Smoking into console for an achievement!" In fact, it truly does work, try it out while playing TTT on the vanilla server, that's what I did...

I didn't rejoin because I was called to do an errand DURING the round, so as soon I left on accident, I rushed to it. It was pretty long, but I TOTALLY FORGOT I had that pending report on me, which is why I checked back on TTT as soon as possible, only to find I was too late.

And trust me, I'm not an often RDMer. You can ask other mods like Milo and Luna, I always play fair game. And when I accidentally RDM, I actually have a somewhat valid reason such as "I thought you just shot at me" or "I saw you come out of the T room!" I promise if I get unbanned, I'll only fire if it's a FOR SURE traitorous act. This won't happen again. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

 

Hm... Well it seems that you have a decent alibi as to why you didn't come back, and I will be lenient and unban you as long as you serve your slay on the server. Anyways I will tag my admin @HelixSpiral to finish it up, and deal with the Ban evasion thing.

While @ECHO-6251 has showed leniency in removing the initial ban- Ban Evasion is a serious offense in our community. You not only ban evaded, but admitted so to @luna♥ while evading. These ban evasion bans will not be removed from your alt accounts.
