Can't ID bodies

Whenever I try to identify an unidentified body I can't. I'm not pressing alt, and E is binded to +use. Anyone know a fix?

 

Record 1 in console then stop. insta fix

reset all your gmod keybinds with the built in option and try without changing anything.

 

This is the same result as Vector's comment, but just as a heads up (record fix; stop) without parentheses is a good console bind for these kinds of problems. I find it most useful for when T trap buttons don't work, but it fixes a lot of things.
