Is it really fair to punish a whole "group" based on the actions of an individual who may or may not even be apart of that group? Sure they might have been associated in the past but they had nothing to do with the spam on your email. All they were was just being "edgy" and "negative" on the forums, but if you wanna give them a COI for that then might as well ban most of the people who use the forums.

GunAndBomb in his appeal even states that he blames the former admins on why he turned cynical. Why would he throw them under the bus then do something stupid that would get the whole group blamed for?

You can't go around blaming everyone for the actions of the few who actually want to take this server down.

Btw, half of the people in that so called 1/11 group hates me and I'm permanently banned off their teamspeak so don't assume I'm part of their group.

Nice dumb rating by @Guilty though, considering you left the community once you got demoted and came back when you could take an easy route to staff again pretending to help out the community. If you truly cared about the community you wouldn't have left in the first place.

Apparently the request was removed promptly because it's no longer available. I think you may want to look at yourself in the mirror my friend

 

Bans like Guns weren't supposed to be handled via the forums, they were to be handled in private, he made a mistake so his post was removed. Don't talk about things you aren't educated on, especially considering how you have ban evasion history and were granted leniency.

Just like @Xproplayer said considering your history you shouldn't be around, plus it seems like you clearly don't want to be around just leave(oh that's right thats what the toxic ex staff said they would do, guess they miss SGM enough to be on)

I don't really understand why they do this shit anyways, but when they do, it always fails. This community is too strong for that. It's a shame that when you put in so much effort Highwon that some try to fuck it up, but just know(you already do) that there are people here that will fight to help you keep this now massive ship afloat. A couple of little shits can't bring it down.
Keep it up man, you're providing a great service to the gaming community. It's greatly appreciated by 99% of us.

Oh yeah, one more thing. If you have to be more strict, so be it man. It will weed out the shit heads quicker so the cool people can enjoy themselves more.

 

I don't have any large relations to that group of people anymore, but their interaction on the forums after they left was for the most part just slightly more trollish than the typical forum user. I also don't really feel like it's okay to punish them all without proof that they were all involved, since some of the banned individuals I feel are less involved with the "group" than others are. Some of them did not commit to trolling at the extent that others did. I feel that unless you have proof they all were involved in the attack on your emails, a group punishment at this level is unfounded and not supported by the evidence that you provide us, and instead a shorter ban is most justifiable. A year for an evidence-less situation is hard for me to stand by.

I'm pretty pro-staff team, but this feels kinda like an excuse to punish the whole group for the actions of only a few members of it, which is something that I don't support regardless of the situation.

EDIT: As a side note, if there is just going to be a ban on the group for being in the group when this happened, why are a few members of the group not included in those that are banned? Why is it just those that have been banned? Shouldn't it be everyone out of the sake of fairness and not just those that have shown any level of toxic behavior beforehand?

(Please note that I fully support a lengthy if not permanent ban for any user who was provably involved with the spam to that E-mail.)

I'm just gonna put this here because it feels right.

Yes, I did resign with this group, yes, I am part of this group and no, I personally am not looking for the community to fail, I'm sure majority of the group feels the same way. It would be unfair to label me, and other members who had no direct involvement in the email spam. Just know, that I and others condemn the spam. I don't think it should have been done.

I've been in the community for a while and I do still talk with some staff members, I've got no intension of marking myself as a toxic player.

 

I mean you cant defend him with that argument when he himself is violating the fact that everyone has opinions and reasons to do stuff.

 

I normally like to stay away from drama but I need to say something about this.

The fact that some people got banned for a year for being "edgy" is absolutely ridiculous. Yes, some were more toxic than others but even then, they did not deserve a year ban, maybe a two or three month? Most of you already know this but @Sinz has been in Europe for the past week, what the hell has he done? Please stop targeting the "1/11" group, the vast majority of us have done nothing wrong.
