Reason For Report:

I was playing a game, because I normally play on EU 2, but the server was died out at this time in the morning.

I played around 10 rounds and we got up to Canyon, I played 1 or 2 rounds as an innocent and then finally got Traitor.

I was Traitor and was sniping some, but I NEVER shot that round, I bought an mp7 and never shot with that too or pulled it out.

At a moment I was scoping over the players looking for a target, still never shot. I got KOS'd by Memes Christ (VIP player) and I was kind of flabbergasted and I tried to defend myself in voice chat by saying: "I did never shoot, check my gun detective", dropped it even (maybe?) and got headshotted.

I reported Memes Christ and told in the report please check the shot logs and the damage logs, I did never shoot, though I got KOS'd for shooting at Memes Christ, by Memes Christ. I stated that clearly because it was important since shot logs are only available the round after and not after that anymore.

So on 5 minutes later @Mr Rogers finished the report I think, gave an RDM slay to Memes Christ. I was kind of happy but ofcourse I lost my T-round. Then suddenly Koba removes all auto slays of Memes Christ I see 2 minutes after that.

Of course, I was pissed, I reported him again and got the following response back: "You were shooting 3 players at the spawn and shot at me I KOS'ed you for that & I call this report invalid because it is already solved."

Later on we got into a chat, Koba checked his video recording, at first Memes denied he even KOS'd me, like he couldn't recall but he said he did KOS me later on maybe in voice that, like I stated a 100 times, Koba confirmed this.

Memes Christ didn't get slain, the chat got closed & the shot logs were obviously lost but the Admin/mod decided to take Memes Christ his word for it, instead of mine & the previous slay that showed he was guilty.

I rage quit later on and called memes christ out for all bad kinds of stuff.

I report Koba here for doing improfessional, I want the shot logs to be checked, Memes Christ to be slain, still & Mr. Rogers to bring out his witness. And also warn Koba for removing slays which were right.

Thanks in advance, sorry for writing all this stuff, its 16.5 hours laters now and I'm still kind of annoyed when I think about it.​

I was on the server at the time, but I wasn't involved in this RDM Report in any way. Koba never removed any slay that I put on either from what I can remember.

 

Maybe the chat log can be recovered and it can be seen who put the slay out there, and why koba removed it, and maybe what memes christ his conversation in admin chat was. Thanks for the reply.

Hello Ability, thanks for reporting me here on the forums. Last night, when I was staffing on the map camel, you filed this report against a player called Memus Christ.

So I start to investigate the report, then I close out of it to play a round of TTT. Your report was filed on round 2, but I really start to investigate this report after I die in round 3, as seen here:

As you can see in the video, just before Memus is about to get slayed, I unslayed him because he said "you shot at me". Later, you then go to say some words in admin chat as shown here:

After a round or so, you create another report against him as shown here:

After this, I open a chat room with both you and Memus to clarify Memus' response. The chat can be shown here:

So basically, throughout the entire scenario, I was pretty certain that this was a word versus word scenario, but after talking to another staff member, I have learned that this is not the case. In order for a report to be INVALID, all parts of the response must be proven by logs or must be word versus word. However, as you see in the 2nd video, I highlight the logs with your name, and I find that you had not damaged anyone at least, which goes against what Memus said in his report. I now know that the correct verdict would have been to slay Memus, because all parts of his response did not match up, so I am sorry for any inconvenience this caused you. I will try my best to make any mistakes of the same nature again. I will let @ryan4winter finish this report up.

 

Sorry for freaking out that hard, I was just very pissed, also because this Memes Christ guy was lying, at least, it felt like that. Thanks for replying and it's okay, you will learn from mistakes, and also from this.

Hey Ability, thanks for taking the time to voice your concerns over one of my moderators.

So after looking over this whole situation with Koba, I have come to my conclusion. But before I get into that let me explain my thought process.

As you can see here, the reported player says

While, we could imply that he meant kill and or damage, we cannot be sure this is what he meant. The correct course of action would have been to look into the damage logs, check if you had ever damaged anyone, then came back and follow one of two scenarios;

• If you did damage someone, then the report would be invalid, he could have easily seen you shoot someone.
• If you didn't damage anyone, then we should go to Memus himself and ask him the following, "did you see him shoot at the players or damage the players?".

Based off of memus' response to the question we then could take the report even further to finish it up by following these steps;

• Memus responds saying you damaged them, if you did, then the report would be invalid. If you didn't then the report would be valid.
• Memus responds saying you only shot at them, never hit them, then the report would be word vs word since there would be no way to prove him wrong.

While I do agree with Koba's initial decision making, I can see where things went wrong, and I will now explain that.

This should have been the correct course of action for this report;

1. Check damage logs to see if you had damaged anyone or not.​

• If you did damage someone, then the report would be finished then and there, invalid.
• If you didn't damage anyone, then continue to step 2

2. Ask Memus whether or not you damaged the player.

3. If he responds saying you damaged a player, then the report would be finished, he had a false argument.

4. If he responds saying you didn't damage the players, only shot at them them then this would be an invalid report, and would fall under word vs word.

Koba did miss a couple of the final steps there to finally be able to mark this report as completed, but I have gone over this scenario with him and we have come to the conclusion that this report is valid since he was not able to complete it all the way through.
