I haven't bothered with Pokemon much since Pokemon GO died down, but a friend of mine talked me into getting Pokemon Sun. I'll be going home to get my 3ds and buy the game over Thanksgiving break, so I decided to make a thread for people to share friend codes/organize battles. My friend code is 3110-6568-6616. I have it. I am not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. The graphics look downgraded, pixilated and I keep getting handed everything instantly. It even started me off with Shared Exp for my pokemon???? Everywhere I go people stop and they say, "Here take my shit." Crazy Town - 2016
Apart from what ravin said the game was made to be fun for the usual players of the games and as well as making it easier for new players hence some the game mechanics and why you get a lot of items earlier, I think the legendaries are unique and the storyline seemed to take longer then oras so thats a plus then the new battle methods ui and guis are ascetically pleasing, it adds new and older pokemon to the mix as well as some post game activities and quests you can do Will add more later
They hand you too much free stuff. I still hate the Exp Share gimmick but it's pretty much required in order to even stand a chance without grinding. The new added things are interesting like Poke Pelago. It doesn't feel as cluttered as ORAS. Overall, I would rank it the middle child of the bunch.
I personally have enjoyed my experience with Pokemon Sun so far. Sure, it's not perfect but i like it.
