Reason For Report:

JackThePumpkin was in the basement of the map InnocentMotel, I went down there and saw him. When I was just roaming around the area, JackThePumpkin started shooting towards my direction twice with a Desert Eagle. He was Traitor baiting and I responded to that by shooting directly at him, but he killed me — JackThePumpkin was innocent when he RDMed me.

I of course, reported this, but JackThePumpkin was the only staff member online at the time, so he messaged me that he was "looking into" the report filed against him, which is ridiculous because the outcome is going to be biased.

When I tried to reason with JackThePumpkin, telling him that I will not report him if only he punishes himself by slaying himself for RDMing me, he refused to and directed me to the forums, I'm reporting him for random-death match.

He was denying the fact that you can get shot and killed for T-baiting, which he was doing. He was also called out by two other people for T-baiting.​

Sure. I'd like to see you evidence against you killing me.

You shot in my direction two times, that's traitor baiting which is against the rules. I proceeded to shoot you because you were shooting at me (basic principle of self-defence), but you killed me and you were Innocent.

I don't understand how can you refute this.

 

Because you traitor baited him back by shooting at him and t baiting is not against the rules so none of you did anything wrong.

Traitorous acts is not against the rules(at least what happen here is not), it just is things you can be killed for doing. You could kill jack for shooting at you, but he could kill you for shooting at him.

 

Good sir, it says specifically it's a traitorous act. That means you can kill them, it isn't against any rules.
You seem to be misreading the rule page.
Traitorous acts are ones you can be killed for, not ones that are against the rules of the server.

 

So he can pretty much get away with RDMing if he T-baits and then wins the fight?

You've reported me for killing you and you are unsatisfied with the verdict, I can understand that. But you see, I've shot you 2 times with a deagle and then you opened fire at me with your m16, missing a shot or two but then hitting me for 18 hp, that there, is enough to retaliate and shoot you back. Now unfortunately I don't have the shoot logs, but I admit to firing 2 deagle bullets at you. Here's the report you filed:

You T-baited and you don't deny it, you were looking for a reason to shoot someone and you got it. How is this not breaking a rule?

Hello Atomic! Thanks for taking the time to send in your report.

T baiting is not an illegal act. The rules define it as a traitorous act that can be acted upon (KOSing or shooting the person), but in no way it is an invalid action. Due to this, neither you or @JackThePumpkin , my moderator, have done anything against the rules - you had a valid reason to shoot him and this gave him a reason to kill you.
While I agree the reasoning behind the case may be questionable, all actions were legal. I have spoken to my moderator about the topic, but the report itself is invalid. Due to this, I am denying your report .
