So another community going by the name of Aftermath Revolution has made a server that's the first of its kind. Team Death Match. Now some servers would allow people to type in !DM in and play a death match with others as they wait for the round to end. Which is something we wish for SG but that's a whole mother topic I won't touch on much. But I would ask SG to touch on a TDM Server. Perhaps have someone go over to A.R. And see if they can get some help to get a good server going for it. I would like to see the SG community dip into a few more game modes than just TTT. It has some REALLY nice admins and moderators and I think it would do FANTASTICLY In other game modes. Take DARK RP for example. One of the most popular game modes out there. Beating out TTT and Gmods Sandbox. but most servers are badly managed and are a constant mess. I think SG would do really well in this game mode. To moderate and manage it at least. And I know it's not free to make servers and manage them but with a server with a very large player space in the most popular game mode? I think after a bit of publicity, it'll pay for itself very quickly. But the main idea of this post is for SG to dive into more game modes other than TTT and its one Deathrun server. *edit* here is a comment that adds a bit of detail I think really shines. +1 you know just a ttt copy but DM I think it is a good area when people don't want to deal with the rules of ttt, maybe a single server 64 people max, 4 of those set for staff if it gets full. And really all that would need to be watched by with staff is harassment and hacking, no rdm, minimal forum reports, and staff hours wouldn't be too much of an issue, also it could be used to teach damage logs to staff. The servers get barely any updates & content added as it is, for no good reason might I add. Making even more new shit just means it's even less likely the current servers get support.
The majority of players have openly expressed disdain for anything related to DarkRP. The likelyhood of any new servers or game modes is slim, as it would require a new branch of staff and other complications.
Still currently TTT is in a pretty good spot. No major overhauls required. I think that SG could dip into some new territory as it TTT are self sustaining by this point
I can respect that but that is the current community. Who don't have to have anything to do with the new servers. I find it hard to believe that SG was great from the get go, I'm certian that there were some things that came with new servers. And remember that DARKRP is a VERY popular game mode so hiring staff wouldn't be a problem. And DARKRP was simply an example.
Still a lot of people like and play it. So I'm sure the ones looking for a good experience will enjoy it
