Reason For Report:

Inattentiveness as staff. At the start of this round, the player "The Floating Floatzel" began micspamming. For the hour or so before this, a hot topic in the server was hot pockets. At one point well before this, everyone was warned about talking too much about hot pockets because half the server was spamming mics about it.

When Floatzel started doing this at the beginning of the round, Stocking was moving and in-game. Floatzel and I died not long into the round and I told Stocking that he had been micspamming the entire round and still was in dead chat. As you see, Stocking says "oh" and kills himself after about 10 seconds. Then, nothing. For the entire round. The demo is over 5 minutes long, that's how long the round was. Stocking eventually leaves near the end of the round and comes back shortly after to finally gag him.

The map switched to Terror Train not long after, where I asked Stocking why it took over 5 minutes and a rejoin for him to do anything about it. He says "Smiley, honestly I couldn't hear it over my TS". Despite him having several players in game asking him to do something and telling him that this player is micspamming, and despite the mic indicator for the player staying lit for 5 straight minutes, he was too busy with TeamSpeak to do his job as staff member.

I would like Stocking to be talked to about priorities. There is no need for staff members who can't put TS or the shoutbox, which he was also chatting in at the time, ahead of the server.​

I have to agree that putting TS over the game you are in charge of staffing, is not how it should be. If something of that importance is going on in TS then you should let whoever know that you are busy, handle things in-game, THEN leave the game to handle whatever is going on in TS.

A mods priority is NOT that or TS but that of the game. And in my opinion the only thing that should be so important in TS is a staff meeting, of which you shouldn't have been in game in the first place. I'm sure this wasn't the case. In any sense, if being in TS means you cannot pay proper attention to the server you're on, then it may be best to not be in TS while staffing.

 

I am extremely sorry that this happened.

I was actually trying to leave the server at the time, because I was far too tired to be staffing. I had the game volume turned down to 1 and I was not paying attention to the chat or mic while I was dealing with reports, and trying to look at the forum report on me, and trying to figure out what was going on with you guys. I got so acquainted with the noise I guess I just didn't hear it. Nobody was even talking in the TS at the time that this video was recorded, I was simply unaware that it was happening, so it's not really that. The part where I disconnected was when I hit F9 on accident while trying to do reports and was gone for nearly 8 minutes while my game was constantly freezing and unfreezing trying to load up a singleplayer instance. I also did not disconnect when it says I did, my game was stuck for a good 3 minutes before I switched to the loading screen. When I came back I instantly gagged him when I realized what that he wasn't just talking about hot pockets but reading some copypasta.

Honestly, it was kind of a mess and I apologize for that.

I'm aware I said this, but I didn't know what he exactly who he was talking about at that time, as multiple people ended up micspamming when I gave the punishment. There were people talking in my TS beforehand, but on my end there was nobody talking specifically at the time of the recording, I remember this.
Essentially I am admitting to my mistake in saying that, Myriad.

 

I can attest to witnessing him deal a false slay today.

Thank you for taking the time to report my moderator @Stocking. In this scenario Stocking should have been more attentive to the server he was staffing. It doesn't seem like TS was the issue. I will mark this report valid. I will talk to him on how he can improve.
