Elvis had slain AstellicWorks for 5+ rounds for RDMing twice. In the motd it says that should only be 3 rounds slain.​

Gonna tag @Slicck as well as @Falcor as she was the one who gave me discretion. I will respond to this when i am done staffing.

 

Just want to say I gave Elvis discretion to slay Astellic for 2 rounds, instead of 1, for his First Offense of RDM.

Hi there @cj89898 , Id like to thank you for taking the time to report me, as it can show me which areas i need to improve on while staffing. Lets get right into it shall we?

On the map CommunityBowling, AstellicWorks was a detective while i was an innocent. He had said "Elvis, test or KOS." several times, and after explaining to him that he can not kill for refusing to test, he said and i quote "Eh fuck it ill take the slay." and proceeded to kill me without reason. This is the report that i sent to him after being killed.

BC AstellicWorks intentionally RDMd me, even after being told the rules, I went to an admin (@Falcor ) about getting discretion for 2 slays instead of one. (You had asked in game and i exaplained but ill explain again) Discretion is something that Moderators can ask an admin for permission to alter a punishment. The protocol states, one slay would be issued. Falcor gave me permission to add two slays instead of one. This is our conversation:

After playing the round after, I had went back into damage logs and just checked to see if i missed anything from all 6 rounds, and i had seen another act of RDM by Astellic on the round before, which i will admit i had missed the first time. He had damaged another player for 10 damage with his crowbar. This is the report I had filed against him regarding the damage done.

I had reported him before round 6 had started, and waited a full round for him to respond (you can see the time reported is at 00:00 and at the bottom left of my screen you can see the "round over"). After waiting for a response and not getting one, I went ahead and issued the slays that were required. Two slays were issued as it was his second offence of RDM. Now, I havent any evidence that i slayed him past his second offence (4 slays). The screenshot you provided shows two messages. One message says that AstellicWorks is slayed for the next 2 rounds and the other says the next 3 rounds. This does not mean he was slayed for a total of 5 rounds, it only means that I added 1 more slay to his past total of 2 slays. Meaning, he only had 3 slays in total.

Thanks for replying and explaining it all in full. I gathered they were additive, but they were not.

Also, I know the definition of discretion but when I asked "by who?" I never heard a response, this could have just been your mic like it was a few times.

 

I apologize if my answers were not coherent. I didnt have headphones in at the time and it most likely caused an echo when others talked.

 

@Elvis is not obligated to tell you who he got the discretion from, or even who he's currently slaying or banning for that matter unless it has something to do with you. Unless you have something to say to a mod that directly impacts your gameplay, they don't have to answer you; so questions like "why did you just slay him" or "who did you just ban" may yield no answer. With all that being said, this report is invalid, and will now be locked.
