Can we like add more deathrun rounds to each map? Sometimes rounds go too quickly, so we should move it to ten, (apparently it used to be that) 6 is too little.
Rounds go by too fast, if a lot of people like one map, but each round is like only a minute, and there is 6 rounds, then that whole map, is only 6 minutes long. We need more rounds for each map.
I personally find 6 reasonable. If 10 were the case, people would get even more bored of the same map for so long specially with a certain 4 always getting picked most of the time. And rounds can last longer, its just the runner's fault for dying so soon <3
-1 for your suggestion, sometimes I get bored of a map super quick especially if it's overplayed like helix. Let me propose a new suggestion: A vote to extend the map to 10 rounds, basically like RTVing.
@Mason Yes I didn't say 10, was just giving an example, also I do agree we could do extend. I just feel like sometimes 6 is too little.
Personally, I would like 8 or so again, as there used to be more rounds prior to the change from one Deathrun gamemode to another. Mason is right, some people may grow tired of a map after 5 or 6 rounds, but that's why we have !rtv. It would be easier to extend the round limits, rather than implementing a new command system to extend a map. If people don't want to play a map past 6 rounds, they can always vote to rtv in this case. Seems like a reasonable suggestion. +1 Edit: to be honest, this is something that has bugged me before, because there's some maps that certain players ( *cough* @NoHackJustGood ) can bhop past the deaths and end the rounds within 30 seconds. There's also a large number of maps in our list that are naturally on the shorter side like Tropical Island, Helix, etc that don't take up much time at all but are solid maps that people enjoy (regardless of the fact that Helix is overplayed). Shouldn't be an issue if they lasted over 4-6 minutes lol. It's no fun just starting a decent map and having it end in a blink of an eye, plus there's a good two rounds per map where people death avoid, making 4 of the 6 rounds playable, and the others not so much.
I would like to see more rounds, because if there is an afk in spectator mode that's already one round gone as soon as you join. If it's a map that people can bhop through like pains, helix, atmoic, etc it can be completed in the 1:00 min range or even less, which doesn't allow the other runners to even finish the map. I would like to see 7-8 rounds maybe more, so it gives people time to enjoy the map, and if they dislike it they can !rtv +1
I just played a game of helix, in 5:30 seconds. Because round 1 was skipped since death was not picked, every other round was like 1 minute to 1 minute and 30 seconds, I think 8 rounds is reasonable.
Overall i will be plus oneing lady lags suggestion on here for 8, as its a good middleground to be on extending but not to much.

I honestly think that with 10 rounds, a map is going to get boring unless the vibe is good on the server. But we do have rtv for that reason +1
