Make it so if innos have T weapons out and people kos or kill them but die as a result slayable for the inno holding T weapons. It's so ridiculous that so many players have T weapons and report you for killing them when you often get killed for them being idiot and having them out in plain sight.

If you have a T weapon out and nobody shoot you it's essentially meta gaming because everybody that does not shoot you is technically gba.

Why should they not be allowed to defend themselves? They might've gotten them from a Traitor they killed and also have announced it in the chat. It's your choice whether you want to kill someone for having a Traitor weapon out or not.

Because you can purposely create RDM train if you have a T weapon out.

You can create RDM trains purposely with a ton of stuff, not just this. Everything that is considered T-baiting can be abused to create RDM trains. If someone specific is constantly doing a thing where they walk around with a T weapon without ever telling anyone about it and then killing everyone in self defence, then maybe that would be borderline loopholing. No reason to completely hinder the 99% of people who just want to hold onto their well earned Traitor guns just because someone you know might be abusing their rights a bit too much.

  8. Not a bad idea! It's honestly annoying how the innocent holding the T weapon doesn't get slain every time he or she is responsible for your death!

The only time i can think that the inno would be responsible for you death is if they RDM you. If you go to kill them bc they have a T weapon, then they can kill you. Its called self defense.

This thread has less brain cells being used in it than your average bunch of chavs.

Can it just be locked under stupidity grounds?

-1 I want to use the OP harpoon on a T cause it can save my life. Why force innos to use crap weapons to kill t's with harpoons mp9's and more. You killed the T with the OP weapon, why punish them for using it.

  12. Wait what? I didn't understand the original/opening post.

Player A kills player t T, who was a traitor, player A picks up player T's harpoon and walks around with it, and is proven innocent. Player B comes in sees player A with the harpoon, and kills him. @avukyi2r3 is saying that player A should be punished for the karma loss and all deaths in the rdm train caused by it.

Avuky, this is what you're getting at right?

(I don't want to come off as rude)
By this rule, I can run around with a T wep, say I plain jane picked it up as a silly T decided to drop it randomly.

No he is saying we punish innocents who bring the T wep out, and cause a person to kill them, so the former gets slain.

  16. Zyp, what I meant was T's use this if made rule to say they just picked up the weapon, and say you can't kill them or you get slain. Sorry if my 2nd post was incomplete :)

Think about this idea for a bit. Is the solution for this "problem" to make holding a T weapon a slayable offense? No, it just makes it unfair for both sides. The player who picks up the T weapon isn't doing it to make you kill them, they're holding the T weapon because they weapon is more powerful and will help their team win. Which is basically the point of TTT, to fight for your role.

If you're the one who's being a bit too quick to shoot, then that's a different story but it sounds like what might be happening for you. Listen to them before you shoot, usually they'll mention "hey i have a T weapon from a T dont kill me". Like announce that the player has a T weapon and ask why, not just shoot asap.

The way this sounds is more because you're too hasty to kill someone you see, not because it's an actual issue.

Discretion is key here, just because you CAN kill them for having a Traitor weapon out doesn't mean you should and have to, similar to when there's an RDM chain between the innocents, you can use a little thinking and judgment here and understand that the likelihood of the person just running about with a T weapon out and not using it being a Traitor is unlikely.

A more interesting example in my opinion is deliberate and excessive traitor-baiting another player, which in my opinion should be deemed slayable if it isn't already.

No, yes, no. If I get this correctly. You want it where, if a player gets kos'ed for having a T weapon, they would not have the right to kill the one that called the kos?
