There was mic spam going on and I was unrightfully banned as I had stopped but the other guy called Berry kept saying the words "suh dude" and we both got banned. I was playing the game fairly and was not harming anyone else and I stopped.​

And hey I didnt know ban evasion was a thing I am so sorry about that. If I can request 1 thing it is that you unban the other account because that is my little brother's and he had nothing to do with it. I am away at college and I just wanted to play a couple games of gmod with my friend DuckBentley before he shipped off for good in the Navy. He leaves tomorrow so I wanted as much playtime as possible and didnt realise that it was considered another ban as long as I followed the rules. If youre going to ban please ban this account but lift the other because my little brother is innocent and deserves to be able to play on your fine server.

I don't appreciate the fact that you lied about having not mic spammed, I don't appreciate it when I ask you to stop mic spamming, "suh dude," you continue to spam instead with, "damn daniel," and I don't appreciate the fact that you decided to bypass the ban and hop onto the server with a different account.

Your original ban was Mic spam for 8 hours, something that I would have gladly worked out for you if you admitted to it and promised to refrain from that action in the future. It wouldn't have lasted very long, and you could have put it behind you. Now you're appealing Ban evasion, something you say you knew nothing about. Ignorance does NOT exempt you from the rules. Even so, there shouldn't have to be a rule stating it. It's common sense that if you're banned from a server, then we don't want you coming back until your punishment has been served. You hopped on another account no less than 30 minutes later, and proceeded to call out your friend, DuckBentley, as a T for no reason afterwards. Although this situation is irrelevant, I decided I'd bring it up anyways to further attest to the toxicity you've shown, now and in the past.

In response to you stating that your brother doesn't deserve this ban and he's innocent, I'd agree saying that he may be innocent. However, his account does deserve the ban. We didn't make you use your brother's account to break the rules, you made that decision on your own. If it really is your brother's account that got banned, I'm sorry he lost ability to play on our servers on account of his brother's recklessness.

If you wish to view the incidents in question which lead to your mic spam ban, here is the video displaying your offense and my punishments. The ticks at which the punishments occur at are a bit past 20,000, 25,000, and 37500 ticks. To skip ahead to these times, open up your console ingame with `, and type in "demoui." In the text box is where you type it in, and to confirm that it was in fact you who was talking at the times you were punished, hit pause, the drive button, then go around and find where you are. When you do that, resume the demo, and follow yourself around to see the sound symbol appear above your head when you are being gagged and eventually banned for mic spam. Repeat for each tick.

I am extremely sorry for all of this and I will ask very kindly in hope of a possible way to avoid such a large ban. Is there an alternative way of serving or making up for this. I had no clue that ban evasion was an issue and I was going to follow the rules to perfection with my brother's account and as you can see on his account I broke no rules and was playing fairly. Heck I even killed 2 T's as detective. I meant no harm and again am deeply sorry.

I also am not lying about mic spam. You gagged me 3 times and I was disciplined for my actions. I DID mic spam and I am ashamed of it. However the period of time between my last gag and the ban I did not mic spam and was playing and the other player named Berry kept saying "suh dude" not me.

 

I stand on my verdict.

You were gagged twice, not 3 times. The third time you said it is seen in the video at tick 37500, which is the point where you were banned. I've already explained how to view it thoroughly.

I truly believe this time off from the servers will be both beneficial and is needed. You're being apologetic now, but the problem was that in-game, you were anything but. I asked you to stop, and immediately after I un-gagged you, you decided it would be a good idea to do it again, saying different things. I respond to actions better than words, and what your actions have told me are that you don't have respect for the rules, and instead try to openly defy them.

 

What do you want me to do? Beg for a second chance?

 

I'm not wanting you to do anything. I left the thread open if you had anything different to add that wasn't said. I didn't see any reason beforehand to unban you, and I don't see any now.
