Why you should be unbanned:

I was actually banned on west,west2,east. I don't know why.

I was banned on west after "rdm & leave" when I know I did not have a slay on me.

then after playing normally on west2, the same thing happened, and I am 100% certain that I did not rdm anyone, and yet I still got banned, again, but this time it was 14 days.

a few days later I was playing on east and enjoying it much more than west so I didn't care to appeal, then the same thing happened and I was banned on east for 28 days this time.

I decided to come make a appeal as this is by far the best server I have played on.

edit:

so it appears I did RDM, but I know that I was not notified that I did and would be slain and can't leave.

on West I didn't even kill someone, and I actually remember perfectly, I shot a detective a few times right when the round started thinking it was still preparation then I said sorry and ran but he chased me and killed me.​

You were banned by @Zigles, @PanzerShrimp and me for various offenses of RDM.

Alright so to start, you were banned by Zigles for RDM and Leave, 1st Offense.
Then I banned you the next day for RDM and Leave, 2nd Offense.
Then finally, Panzershrimp banned you for RDM and Leave, 3rd Offense.

All of these bans are currently active. If all evidence is brought forth and they deny your appeal, then your ban will be globalized across the servers.

I am going to start mine off with a Deny. You left the server when randomly shooting another player listed here. Before I could report it and ask you why, you left the server. If this was your first offense, I would request you come server the slay, but seeing as you got three RDM and Leave bans three days in a row, you are not eligible for this option.

I banned you yesterday for RDM and Leave 3rd offense. Here's the report and your response:

You killed a player for what you thought was a traitor door. I messaged DestinyForNone (since i can't tag him) to see if he can elaborate more on what happened.

I gave you two rounds to come back, but you never did. I then issued your RDM and Leave 3rd ban.

Since this is your third offense within two days, and you have such low hours on all of our servers, I'll be denying this appeal as well. I don't think it should be globalized, but that's up to the admins.

In the future, you must realize how bans can stack like they have, and always ask staff if you are okay to leave.

you never messaged me or told me that I was going to be slain... I left and you expect me to know that I will get banned?.

 

Considering your response to the report "lol im sorry man", and leaving after you responded to it without serving a slay, you should've known that you were going to be banned.

How am I supposed to know whether or not a player has read the rules?


FYI:

RDM

• 1st time - Slay*
• 2nd time - Slay 2 rounds*
• 3rd time - Ban 24 hours
• 4+ times - Ban 5 days
  * If you're slain for RDM, you have to stay the whole round or it's considered RDM & leave.

 

There was no notification that I was going to be slain.

so everyone who just joins gmod is supposed to magically know that you have to ask staff before you leave?

these servers have tons of plugins but you guys can't make a alert whenever you are going to be slain saying you can't leave?

 

As you can see here, you were slain by me for RDM and you proceeded to leave before your slay round. In this case you would have been notified that you were going to be slain and you left regardless of that which is why you were banned.

I do not recall the specific reason you were slain, but I do have this screenshot of a different report where you can also see I had reported you. And usually when I report a player, it is for random unreported damage that occurred in the round.

So considering that you are currently banned for 3 active offenses of RDM and Leave, I will be denying this appeal.

When your ban expires and you join back on our servers, please take the time to read over our rules and make sure to be more careful and be considerate of the rules and take responsibility for your actions and accept the single slay punishment rather than leaving and taking a ban.

 

It is not up to the Moderator to ensure you read our rules, which comes up when you first join the server and every time a new map loads. What Panzershrimp means is that it is a GOOD idea to ask before you leave to ensure this does not happen because if there is any unreported damage you have done, you can be banned for RDM and Leave. This is why we have a various amount of punishments that lead UP to a harsher punishment. To get Three Active RDM and Leave bans one day after another tells me you are not understanding the Kindness Panzershrimp had given you.


The server does tell you that you have a slay on you when it is issued. And when I had banned you, you didn't even let me ask you what happened, you just left.

I am going to leave this open for 24 more hours for you to reply, depending on your reply will decide if I globalize your ban or not. Take some time to consider your approach on this and reply.

As this appeal has been open for 24 hours and no reply was given, I must inform you the ban appeal is denied. Ontop of this, it has also been globalized but not extended for 4w due to all bans being active. Panzershrimp gave you a chance and instead you tried to debate with him on the ban and pass the blame to someone else as you did not take time to review the rules, which are in-front of you every time you join the server and every time the map changes. You did not have 1 chance, but three total as listed above.

Take this time to review the rules, and when you ban is up you can return with a much better understanding of the rules and protocol. If you have any questions, you are welcome to PM me.
