Reporting nG|Angelx for inciting RDM.

Reason For Report: Incited RDM by making an innocent false KOS through t-baiting.

- nG|Angelx admits to t baiting me.

- Because nG|Angelx t-baited me, I called a KOS on nG|Angelx. I was killed for this KOS, since it was apparently false.
- nG|Angelx is saying that it is OK to t-bait other players into KOSing you.
-Thus creating a situation where RDM occurs since if Angel was killed, I would have been slayed for false KOS.
- If I had shot nG|Angelx for their t-baiting, I would have been killed regardless. Or slain even for RDM.

- If a proven innocent player (such as a D) is causing other players to call false KOSes on them, then they are inciting RDM.

EDIT: You are using your admin powers to prevent me to present my side of the argument. Please do not use your powers to make your argument valid. It is unfair.

In the "KOS on Detective question/clarification 12by Mr.Stark » Tue Dec 10, 2013 2:47 pm" topic, it was clearly stated that "i have been told by highwon and admins that KOSing a detective is counted as false kos/rdm." by Killamarshall. You said that you were proven, which means that ANY KOS on you is counted as a false KOS. The result of this means that my KOS was ignored by other players and other players killed me BECAUSE YOU MADE ME FALSE KOS YOU FOR YOUR TRAITOROUS ACTIONS.

You didn't have to KOS. You made the decision to. T-Baiting is a part of the game. You weren't gonna be slain and Angel did not abuse any powers. She and oDust tried to explain the concept to you but I don't think you have understood it.

 

Hold on. You KOS'd a proven player and were killed for it? Sounds legitimate to me. I'm not sure if you understand. She was doing something traitorous, you could have called her out for it, which you did. It just so happens that she was proven and you were killed for it.

She did something traitorous, that's why your KOS wasn't RDM. Like other staff have already stated. You didn't have to KOS a proven player.

 

KOSed a proven player for T-Baiting. Which is fine, but when you make the decision to KOS angel there is a high probability that you will die.

 

That is exactly the point that I am trying to make!

nG|Angelx was a proven player.
nG|Angelx traitor baited me.
I called a KOS on nG|Angelx for traitor baiting me.
Because nG|Angelx was proven, other players killed me.

nG|Angelx baited me and got me to KOS nG|Angelx knowing full well that I would be killed for it.
Thus, nG|Angelx incited RDM. Because nG|Angelx purposely created a situation where I would die if I did anything to defend myself.
It's just like a Detective baiting other players so that when a legit KOS is called on the Detective, the KOSer is killed.

I'm not asking for any sort of punishment here. All I'd like is an apology for making other players RDM me.

Since a D is basically a proven player with special powers, that means that nG|Angelx made me KOS a proven player by baiting me. Thus inciting RDM.

 

As previously mentioned, traitor baiting is part of the game. Staff have some gameplay limitations(we aren't allowed to propkill) but we're not going to put up a different set of rules for staff.

She T-baited you, your bit, you died. It's part of the game, a couple minutes later a new round starts. Nothing to complain about.

 

So you're telling me that if I go around as a proven player t-baiting people, who then KOS me and are killed because they KOSed me, that's OK?

I just want to be absolutely sure that's what you guys are telling me.

 

It's okay if it's once a map or so. But if you start to intentionally do it every round just because we said it was okay, we'll start to punish you for it.

Traitorous acts are traitorous, but if you do it to often and cause RDM round after round after round, you'll have to be straightened. But one or two instances in a map are relatively fine.

Lol I once got down to 650 karma because of Kimwave Sushay's T-baiting round after round. I wasn't aware I could slay her for it after that many times.

 

Just wondering, with this logic can I go around, t bait, get shot for it and kill the person who I t baited and the others that shot me? I mean, they shot me first. Its a bit of broken logic dont you think?

 

It's not a broken system. If you shoot first and kill the player, you deserve a slay. In my view, you could have been a bad shot and missed your first attempt at RDMing.

In my personal opinion, I don't think staff should do it.

The big difference is that Angel was proven and was T baiting. After someone is proven, mark them on the list as a friend so, if they t bait, you know they're just trying to actually bait a traitor.

 

Im not saying its okay, but look at it from this way, I dont really belive anyone is proven, unless I see it, or the detective says it. Why? Well as a T I get proven by my T buds and people believe us. Anyways, T Baiting is just bad, it causes rdm.

 

If you were T baiting, the logs will show you were shooting first. A majority(including me) may assume that you were shooting at the player and consequently warranting attempted RDM on your side, and then you finalized it.

 

Traitor baiting is fun.

 

Agreed, traitor baiting is good for catching those n00b traitors that think your shooting at them because you have DNA or something, if they wish to retalitate, then bring the ruckus..
