Answered Moderating?

How can you call your server "Serious" when there are always extended periods of time without mods or admins where people are free to RDM with no consequences?

 

We all do our best to have at the very least a few servers staffed at all times. We are all volunteers and have lives outside of SGMOD. I understand how unstaffed servers can be, and I would encourage you to report RDM's on the forums or hop to a staffed server.

 

Well to answer that, you need to understand that Staff Members are not paid to do this.

We moderate the servers out of our own will and love of the community. Most of us are young students in High School or college and as a result do not have the mornings off. We all do our best to keep the servers as clean as we can as we want this place to be as enjoyable as it can be. Unfortunately, Staff also have lives to live and I apologize that we cannot be on 24/7 to keep an eye on the servers. If too many problems are occurring you're always welcome to report them in our forum report section though.

 

I understand that almost everyone has a life outside of modding and being an admin but a popular server such as this should have at least 1 mod on without prolonged breaks with no one on. When you agree to become mod or admin you know that you are signing up to put at least some of your free time into it. I can understand times such as 8am-4pm or 10om+ but there shouldnt be no admins or mod for 2 hours around 6pm when most people have finished school/college etc.

 

I understand it is frustrating, but I can only refer to my previous suggestions.

Also there's hella open spots rights now. Eventually they will get filled up and the servers will be staffed more.
