Why you should be unbanned:

Me and my friends (DocSlender and some other people with Doc in there name) were having some fun and decided to put Doc in front of our name to start a new group. Pika then gets on and notices that we have Doc in our name and decides to make us all change our name so that we wouldnt be confused when somebody calls a KOS. me and slender got pretty confused to why she was going to disband our group of docs when it is only 3 letters and when the rest of our names are perfectly pronounceable. After pika forced most of us to change our name i changed my to Dok instead of doc and she said that still isnt ok so i changed mine to Cod. in the end i followed the rules and did not continue the argument after i changed my name to CodQuantum. I dont know who it was who banned me (either pika or Steven) but i feel like the justice system has failed because (again) in the end i followed the rules and changed my name.​

Evidence of Innocence:

You can ask the players that where on at the time like DocSlender if i followed their instructions to change my name, and i did, or look at there "video evidence" that steven said he had.​

So as you admitted you refused to change your name and you got rather upset when asked to change it. Your buddies later on started harassing and trolling me. They had previously done it to pika and you guys mocked her for asking an admin to come on and help.

So here is when you said you refuse to listen to a moderator because you felt they were in the wrong http://prntscr.com/9wuwz4. If a moderator asks you to do something then you should do it, however you refused numerous times. I believe @Pika has the rest of the screenshots and will provide them shortly. But as you stated in your appeal you refused to listen and began to change your name so it would be slightly different but it didn't fix the problem.

 

as we were talking yesterday on the server i had already told you that I did not want to change my name BUT i understood the rules and followed them and i slightly changed it thinking it would be ok but pika informed me it was not enough so i changed it enough to where it was ok. the problem was solved before you even got online and if you go ahead and re-read my appeal it does not state that i refused "several times" to change it becuase if i refused why would have i changed it so many times to see if it was ok? i asked pika if Dok was ok and when she said no i changed it. If i broke a rule it was a rule that was not apparent to me before the time that this happened and now i know about the rule. I changed my name and did not argue after i did because i knew i was in the wrong after pika explained the rule. I followed the rule after being explained the rule of not having similar names with someone. I feel like i should not have been banned for this and i would like to be unbanned. thank you for atleast replying to the appeal.

Yesterday when I hopped on the server had at least 5 people with the name "Doc" in theirs. I asked, verbally, for the players to change it and most of them did. Then there were 3, I gave another warning, and then it was just 2. I repeated that one of you had to change your name and both of you refused. So both of you were kicked. You were refusing and being quite rude seeing as I was just asking you to change your name.

You first changed it to QuantumDoc, when I specifically asked you to remove Doc from your name altogether. @CDriscoll I was discussing this with my admin and he said it was not good enough, that you needed Doc out of your name completely.

You did change your name, just changing to "c" to a "k". You "changing the rules slightly" was becoming an issue since I had to repeatedly ask you to change your name.

You then continued to argue with me, saying it's not "Doc" anymore so it's fine, even though most players would read it off as doc and you were just pushing to see how close to the name you could stick with.

You were less than respectful throughout this situation. Your behavior was trolling and you did continue to argue with me even after your name was changed to Cod.

The video evidence came in a little late @Machinekiller00 had to upload it and it was taking a little while, but he did give it to me and you propkilled an innocent as an innocent.

As you can see, Jackie is killed 2 seconds by "The world" before Meme kills Quantum for prop-killing an innocent as an innocent.

Overall your behavior was incredibly rude, cantankerous, and overall toxic.

ok lets go over your response in steps
1:"You first changed it to QuantumDoc, when I specifically asked you to remove Doc from your name altogether. @CDriscoll I was discussing this with my admin and he said it was not good enough, that you needed Doc out of your name completely." ------ Me changing my name from Doc to Dok is removing Doc from my name becuase players would no longer refer to be as Doc but instead as Dok. you felt that it was not enough so as you and i both stated i changed it again.

2: "You first changed it to QuantumDoc, when I specifically asked you to remove Doc from your name altogether. @CDriscoll I was discussing this with my admin and he said it was not good enough, that you needed Doc out of your name completely." ------ So is there was a problem that players would call me Doc and not Quantum when calling kos's and sus then if i put Doc at the end then "players look at the beginning of the name when calling things for players" (you said this yesterday) so if what you said is true then the problem should go away if i put it at the end which i did and again you say its not enough so i change it AGAIN.

I do not apologize for my actions but for how my actions made you feel. im sorry for the way you felt during the situation and that if you think i was "toxic" it was becuase i was being forced t change my name when having fun with friends. i did not mean to troll i was just trying to keep my name while making you happy. gj on saving the server. (don't get triggered from a joke)


4:"The video evidence came in a little late @Machinekiller00 had to upload it and it was taking a little while, but he did give it to me and you prop killed an innocent as an innocent." ----------- as for the prop kill obviously that was my fault and i will take the punishment for it but i don't think that the punishment for prop killing is a 14 day ban from the server. i'm sorry for prop killing but so far that (in my opinion) is the only thing that i can legitimately be punished for at this point because a name change really shouldn't have a 14 day ban.




in the end i changed my name and everything was ok until i logged off for the night then came back online today to see that i was banned for 14 days. i would like to be unbanned and hopefully the justice system here is nothing like the one in California.

 

also i just looked at the screenshot that steven posted in his reply. I stopped dealing with pika after i changed my name and the whole thing was over with as i stated in the screen shot. she was triggered and i felt that she was trying to get us to change our name because she needed to feel some sort of purpose mabey? idk. but yea i was tired of dealing with pika for the entire ordeal so i tried to talk to you but i then had to leave. and im sorry for my friends "harrasing and trolling" it was not my intention for things to go as far as they did and i apologize for them and how they made you feel.

first amendment allows me the freedom of speech meaning i can ask for swastikas. also why are you here....if you dont have evidence to support or deny my case plz leave. and what do you mean as an ad on to what i have done???? asking for a swastika to support the nazi party is not breaking a server rule or atleast to my knowledge it is not breaking a rule.

 

I was not "triggered" by anything you said, Quantum. My admin said I had to keep asking you to change your name.

Changing your name will prevent any RDM (regarding your name) from happening. The name change stops that before a player can mistakenly kill you. I also did not say, "players look at the beginning of your name" I said what I just said a sentence ago. Someone else was saying it as the same as me.

Your disrespect is obvious. The fact that you "do not apologize for your actions" means you have not learned anything. Your disrespect did not make me think that you were toxic, it let me KNOW you were.

Everything you've said is just a regurgitation of last night. You were being toxic, you were bending the rules, and you still haven't learned from this situation. Like I said, the final verdict is up to @Steven [BTH]

 

if thats how you feel then plz do not reply becuase the rest of what i am saying is for steven. the whole apologizing for my action or how you feel was a joke XD. i understand the rule of not having the same name and im gunna change my name to something more original and im sorry for my action not for how it made you feel.

 

After much consideration I have decided to reduce your ban because I think 2 weeks is a bit unfair. You will however remain banned for refusing to listen to something you was asked nicely to do as well as being rude and harassing staff. In future I suggest you cooperate with staff.

Appeal accepted and ban length reduced to 5 days.
