What's your favorite Star Wars game and why? Mine is Star Wars: Battlefront II. I was quite dissapointed with the new one's lack of features and depth. Knights of the Old Republic is popular, however I don't like it because I can't get used to the combat.
Yes yes the story and lore of KotOR is phenomenal. I just really hate the combat system of a dice roll system.
I thought it was fine, I guess I played it when it was pretty new though so it was kinda revolutionary and I thought it was cool. If I played a new game with it now that'd be different for sure, but when you're younger any combat system on an original Xbox is cool.
Thanks to @Darth West for getting me hooked on KotOR and KotOR 2: The Sith Lords, was a blast playing both of these games and would keep playing them over and over if I could.
my favorite star wars game is kotor and battlefront as i feel they where beutifuly made star wars games also i agree that battlefront 3 was a disapointment
Star Wars Battlefront 1-2 were the games of my PS2 childhood. I loved everything about those games. It's a shame that the "new" one by EA turned out to be utter crap when compared to it's predecessors. I was really looking forward to a new update and online play :/
I've played an ungodly amount of KOTOR I & II on original Xbox, spent many a day "sick" from school and playing those for the whole day, great games. I still play them today because bloody hell they're amazing. Played both Star wars Battlefield I & II with friends back on the PlayStation 2, countless memories as Vader force-pushing Rebels off of Cloud City. Star Wars Empire at War was fun for the RTS style, mass foot-troops and oh look they have tanks buttshittery; regardless still have over 100hrs with friends because of the fun we had. Oh and space battles, lots and lots of space battles. Pew pew I have X-wings and a few Corellian corvette's! I vaguely recall Star Wars Jedi Knight Academy and I vaguely recall Force Lightning-ing Storm Troopers a bunch. Finally Star Wars Republic Commandos, it was my very first strategic first-person shooter and therefor has a special place in my heart. WHAT IN GODS NAMED HAPPENED TO SEV!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!
Serious post. I was a big fan of the First Star-wars Battlefront for the PS2. That got me into FPS's; That and Socom 2. I used to even be in a clan when I was like...13? It was silly but I was really into the Sniper class and learned how to no scope people on cloud city consistently. Though now, I am terrible with a sniper and more of a run and gun kinda person.
The kotor series because i just love the story line and the characters. I love stunning my opponents then using my lightsaber to deal high damage. I also like using Force Storm against a swarm of enemies, easy ko
The first battlefront will forever hold a special place in my heart. Iv played that game so many times. Probably know every map inside and out. As of right now, EA's Star Wars Battlefront. Please don't hate me. @Ravin sniping on cloud city is where it's at!
EA's battlefront is pretty good imo. I dont get why people are throwing a hissy fit over it. The only thing you have to pay for so far is season pass so I don't get the "OMFG EA IS CHARGING MICROTRANSACTIONS IN BATTLEFRONT OMG" and no: im not talking about the relationship to the other battlefronts, this one is just a shooter
No love for the Lego Star wars? Incredible games and started off a series of great Lego game adaptions.
