Why you should be unbanned:

The reason what came down with the 3 RDM was that there is a glitch on map Minecraft b5 I believe its the minecraft Island one, where before you start the game there this prep time that starts. Players who are spawned in the this underground lava cave around 15 players go through this portal and this is where the glitch happens instead of going fully through the portal you stuck in this mass right above the portal door. When the match started people just get killed randomly either by a Traitor or an innocent which isn't fair because I was an innocent killed by a traitor while the people who were killed was an innocent. Unfortunately I thought because of the glitch people or especially the admins or mods would know this bug in game so I didn't think I needed to take a snap shot because I didn't think I would be banned for it ? This is a 24 hour ban but the situation was so weird that I shouldn't be the only one banned for it when multiple people were stuck in spot not able to move so whoever was in the mass either an inncent or traitor but the Ts have an advantage because all they have to do is suicide bomb. Here is what it kind of looks like in the Evidence of innocence though there is way more players involved on top of a glitched out portal before the start of game.​

A little Side note I'm trying to learn the rules of the game because I'm a fairly new player been playing for about a few days. Honestly I had no intentions of (RDM) because we were on prep time before the start of the game and at least six or seven people were stuck in this blob up on the portal gate. Even if you deny the appeal I just want you to know whats up.

 

Hello NvidiaDude! Today is your lucky day! I didn't notice that you actually crowbarred 4 players, not 3 so it should have been a 5d Mass RDM (4+) ban. But anyways, I'm going to explain why what you did was the wrong reaction to the situation. And what to do if such a thing happens again with staff online, and with staff offline.

To start, I noticed that you damaged several players at the beginning of the round with crowbar damage. Curious as to what lead to a detective to randomly damage players I put a report on you asking for an explanation. Your response was, as you said, you damaged them when you were stuck.

Under our rules, damaging players because you are glitched into them is random damage, and therefore RDM. Being glitched is in itself *not* a traitorous act (Note: if someone in the stack is damaging you first you can try to kill them in self defense, but that did not happen in this case). Because you damaged 3+ people each one counted as an RDM, which is why you were banned for Mass RDM.

Now you may be asking, "What should I do when I'm glitched?" Well there are 2 major ways to get unstuck in that situation without harming anyone.
1) If a staff member is on, type @stuck and upon seeing it, and if they are in a safe place, the staff member will teleport you to them, thus making you unstuck.
2) If there is no staff on, or staff is unable to bring you at that time, you can use your magneto stick and by holding down your fire button, slowly push players out of the stuck blob until you are all freed.

Now, because you are fairly new and this is your first ban, I am willing to accept this appeal if you can confirm you have read through what I have said an now know better how to handle this situation.

Good evening ^.^ I had talked with @Noctorious during the time of the event as I had begun to review the above pictured evidence. It's always best to use non-lethal ways of handling such issues, so as to avoid such trouble in the future. Being within Trial I conferred all reports. No further evidence on my end. I do hope you to see you around again. I also advise you read thoroughly through the !motd in game or even here in the forums for now I too concur with @Noctorious

 

Alright I understand the situation but I wasn't the only one stuck in one spot before the prep time, it was around 15 players at the start of the period usually if you die or get damaged you will respawn with your health set back up for the start of the game somehow for this issue it didn't happen that way instead the players kept there damage and literally I died a second at the start of the match by a traitor if that was innocent that's a different story. To actually clarify a few things I was crowbarring people in large mass of people in spot during prep time but somehow it carried into the game and literally like 10 people died just there so if you could understand the players point of view it would make sense

 

how is being glitched out a traitorous act when all of us went through a portal and somehow got stuck in one spot literally in spot, so how can you kill them in self defense when literally everybody is grouped together?

 

I don't know if you noticed your timer or what but you damaged them :04 sec and :06 sec which means the round had definitely begun

If someone in the group HAD shot you (for example if a T was stuck in there with you and decided to try to kill the group) you could then shoot the T that is damaging you and anyone else harmed would be crossfire. But that did not happen in this case

 

Hey Noctorious, yes nextime if I get stuck in a mass of people I will ask for some help, but I honestly didn't release we started the match because everybody is crowbarring in spot. Didn't I die a few seconds after by a traitor ? Do you know that going through the portal from the lava cave to the house has this bug?

 

Most portals or teleporters have the same problem if multiple people try to go through, which is why we know of ways to get unstuck without RDMing. You can see in the logs the times I stated are the times you damaged people while you were not harmed.

Anyways, try to be more careful as next time it's more likely you'll be denied as you now know that this is RDM, you've already been unbanned.
