High Tier Weaponry

Detectives and Traitors will have an ability to access elite tier weaponry.

Yes, these weapons are more OP than what are already available to these players. However, to make up for that, these weapons will be worth more than 1 credit. This will require players to work hard towards earning their credits, and possibly even forgo purchasing other perks available to them in order to access these higher powered weapons. It'll require detectives and traitors to actively gather and prevent their opponents from obtaining credits, otherwise they'll face a greater chance of death.

    An example:
Everyone's most hated weapon: The Bulk Cannon.
Of course, the Bulk Cannon is way too powerful as it was when it was available during the Halloween event. It'd need to be balanced. For example, when it is purchased, it will come with only 5 ammo and more ammo cannot be picked up, similar to the HUGE.

If you guys like the idea, please make your suggestions to expand on this. Don't really know any good weapons to add for this purpose, so all comments are welcome.

Also, thanks to Kawaii for some help on this suggestion.

Code to allow more than 1 credit to be used on a single purchase (Credits to Sm63):

This would create another incentive for people to donate for elite.
Maybe a Detective weapon as well?

I think I should have given this a more proper name. I meant high tier weapons, available to all. No need to donate. (Just couldn't think of a name besides elite)

I've said this before but the way TTT's code is written you cannot actually make something cost more than 1 credit as was intended by the creator. However if you could figure out a way to get around that then this would have my +1.

(Also being able to get a laser gun with infinite ammo but you have to charge up your shots and it would overheat would be cool)

Ask, and you shall receive. The following code should take care of this issue. Credits go to Sm63

You could buy the gun in parts, the parts would cost 1 point (barrel, magazine, sight, etc) but I think we got an answer to that.

I want a knife that can continue to use after killing innocents xD +1

Don't balance the bulk. Just keep it for special events like Halloween or Christmas. On a more serious note i like this idea and traitors should get more weapons but not too much. +1

Well, I think the fact that we have many people who support the idea, and the fact that there is actually code to get this working means that its time to bring in @Highwon @Disruptionz @Darktooth

I understand the reason behind this but I feel like using the bulk cannon will be ruining the idea that it is specifically for special events. Also I am guessing that most of us know the bulk cannon is very op and almost unstoppable. We would need something to balance this. If we can I'll give it a +1. But for now -1

We could also make a secondary harpoon available in pointshop for 2 creds. So you buy the first one for 1 cred, 2nd for 2 creds, maybe even 3rd for 3 creds and so on.

Certainly. The bulk cannon we experienced during the Halloween can easily be considered too powerful. As I suggested, limiting it to 5 ammo, and removing the ability to acquire any more ammo for it should help balance it. My original idea to go along with this was to make the bulk cannon itself worth 5 credits. It can easily be purchased if players pool their credits or if they put in the extra effort to collect credits. Making it worth that many credits will prevent too many players from using it in one round, and perhaps even force players to give up other perks such as death stations, mp7s, other other items in order to afford these higher tier weapons unless if they've gathered enough credits by other means. My idea behind all of this is to bring new elements to the game play that requires a higher level of strategy, and perhaps even a greater level of teamwork and interaction in the case of pooling credits.
