ive been banned for 14 days and i dont know why or what i did i was playing today and never got slain or banned and i come back on to find ive been banned for 14 days what did i do? i cant find info about my ban anywhere​

Hey there, thanks for making an appeal.

So, you were banned for RDM and leave, 2nd offense by myself earlier. Let's get into the meat of the situation.

You were reported by Guinness Fox (BEERFOX) for killing him when he hadn't done anything traitorous that round (or so he claimed). Your response was that you saw him kill someone earlier in the round.

Upon investigation, I found that Guinness Fox hadn't killed nor damaged anyone that round.

If you click this, you'll find an imgur album of the damage logs from the entire round.

As you can see, Guinness Fox didn't kill or damage anyone, and you seemingly killed him for no reason. Before you could serve the slay, you were already gone. If you have nothing else to add, I'll go ahead and deny this appeal. You have 24 hours.

 

When i left you hadn't placed the slay on me so i didnt know i was gonna get slain, i thought he killed someone so when i left the next round i didnt know i was leaving without serving a slay and also if i just rdmed guinness and left then why am i getting a second offense punishment? if you woulda told me i was being slain i would've stayed but i didnt know i rdmed

Reports take time to investigate, especially those that require me to look through the entire log of a round to ensure said player didn't kill anyone. While it might not take a lot of time (30s-2min), there's also usually several other reports we have to investigate at the same time. Before leaving, it may be a good idea to ask in adminchat if you might have a pending slay.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, maybe you killed him thinking he was the traitor that killed someone and you got mixed up, leading to the misleading response you gave. Unfortunately, I'm out at a festival and won't be home until probably 8-9pm est at the earliest tonight. Add me on steam and I'll try to get in touch with you so you can serve your slay. Once the slay is served, I'll void your ban.

Also, to explain, you got a second offense instead of first offense because you had a previous offense of RDM and leave that would have expired (3 months for statute of limitations) today. The offense was yesterday and therefore counted up to second offense.
