Please Clarify

There is a building on assault where you can straff the chain linked fence and get on top of a building that is inaccessible to anyone else unless you straff across yourself ive had mods and admins both say this your allowed and not allowed to be up there and i cant seem to get a straight answers ive also been slayed for being up there my self and ive been moved from it please clarify and or add to the map rules if we can or cannot be up there

im not the best at getting up there but i can and when i do if im a T i can usually kill 6-10 people depending on how many my T buddies take out just seems unfair to the other players

 

I allow it as anyone can get over there, if a T is camping hard though or the T's can't find an innocent because hes up there then I TP them down. It is no where in the rules you cannot be up there and you don't need to prop surf too get there so I see no issue.

 

That area is allowed. If a staff member tries to say it's not allowed to be there, please gather evidence and report them(though you could try to PM an admin privately instead), that way they can be corrected.

But, although while it is allowed. It's still deemed camping if you're up there to long, which can get you TP'd. I personally use that area and I can easily make it there so I can move between the spot and somewhere else when utilizing it.

 

back in my day using props in any way to get to places like that weren't
allowed.

 

It's fine to be up there until there are few players left. At that point just jump down on the stairs behind the building. Continuing to camp up there after being warned not to will result in you being forced into spectate for the duration of the round.

 

you dont need props to get up there, and if you do you must really suck at strafing

 

Well, I allow it unless they are using it to their advantage, in that case I just tp them down.

 

Take note of the admin's input on this thread. TP'ing someone down from that area for any reason other than camping is abuse. If you want to get them down - if they've been up there for long enough to qualify as camping. Give them multiple PM warnings before TPing or spectating them.

 

Psh, strafing isn't hard, since my 200 hours on css are all bhop servers.

 

Only if the majority of the server is dead, Ts/Innos can camp up there using it as an advantage, don't tp them ._.

 

A while ago an admin told me to do it like that, so I follow it. I guess the rules have changed.

 

You should slay them only if they are camping, but i try to be lenient sometimes and just TP them.

someone tell this to Magafe... he's saying we can't and tp's everyone down straight away. I pointed out that admins said that we can and sent him a link to this thread, he still said that we can't.

 

You were using a prop to get to a unreachable area.
