Rejected Peasants deserve skins too!

Hello, I'm Bloody Nicholas aka that random nobody who has a tendency of F**ing people over. I've noticed that in the pointshop there are no skins for us non-donater peasants! Why u do dis? I'd Like too suggest that non-donators get a chance to buy skins too. Also i don't mean give us plebs some fancy/smancy player model, i mean some random gmod or cs skins like kleiner or alyx or something.

Have you searched before creating this suggestion? There have been multiple other posts of this same nature that have relieved the same rejection from the community.

I'll be the first to say this. Listen, I donated to this server to help Highwon run it. In return, he has given me multiple perks in the point shop; it's his way of saying "Thank you" for donating.

Non-donors already have certain point shop items that they can use to make themselves unique. However, skins remain off-limits. Why is this? Well, it's simply because how am I supposed to feel thanked when someone else can get their own unique skin just for playing on the servers? What's the motivation for players to donate when they can just get something unique for free?

Like I've said in my other posts in regards to this, "I'm not a communist." I say this because my donations shouldn't mean you get thanks given to you just for showing up. "Nothing in life comes easy."

We certainly due appreciate that you want to play on Serious TTT out of all the other TTT servers and we thank you for doing so. However, there are certain things that are reserved for those special individuals that went the extra step and gave a donation to keep this wonderful server going.

 

Have you actually read the post before creating this comment? I said nothing about unique skins. I literally pointed out that the skins up for sale would be as default as they can be such as Kleiner, citizens, etc. These are not supposed to make the non-donators feel special, they are just a way for them to spend their points. Also this wouldn't affect whether someone donates or not. The unique/cool skins still require you to donate to get them and if someone wants one of those skins they'll either deal with not having them or they'll donate to get it. This is not negative in any way and does not make anyone less special. Don't say "oh if they get this then i don't feel special anymore, wahhhh" These are not custom/cool, just a default. If you want to have some type of feeling that you actually are someone with meaning and need to feel special , go right ahead but don't take it out on people who aren't allowed/able to donate, give em a fighting chance to get one (with their earned points)

 

Its true that i believe non donators should get skins.
however, as mango already stated.

Its right there. And if you think about it, Mango has point, the whole reason for having skins for donators IS to encourage more people to support the server by donating.[P.S great marketing scheme]
So there. It serves as a "motivation" so to speak.

 

Even if these are added they would make anyone lose motivation to donate and get skins or other stuff, Also if somebody is donating they should be doing it to support the server, not to get Stuff (but its just my opinion and I DO AGREE WITH SPECIAL DONATOR SKINS but i think the server could just have a couple default,non workshop skins for the non donators)

I mean, the whole reason to donate is to get the stuff. and by doing so the skins are an incentive to those that donate.
And by allowing any chap to simply buy any skin seems to be taking that incentive away.

Okay... I don't care if you dont agree or if others have made these before, i'm just putting out my opinion. If you dotn want it just do what you normally lockdown and deny what you dont agree with. I'm just sayign what I'D LIKE but that doesnt mean much so whatever just do what you gotta do

 

I don't think you understand where we are coming from, @Bloody Nicholas.

We are saying these things because there have been posts like yours prior to this and they have received the same feedback; a search for these topics would have prevent that. There's a good amount of donators that like their perks and like to be in an exclusive group; something that sets them apart from regulars.

We're not here to shut you down or deny this appeal. We're here to give you feedback as to why skins are reserved for people that donate to the servers. I even told you ways that you could get skins without donating, so it's not at all negative.
